Beautiful spot for exercise, walking or just sitting relaxing as I was. The pelicans are interesting to watch.

Clean and tidy, this place is suitable to bring children along for a quick cast for a fish or to enjoy the playground.

Lovely little spot to take the kidlets to burn off some energy.

Always people fishing at the lake, and usually a resident pelican or two hanging around hoping for an easy lunch.

BBQ area with bench seats and tables, undercover for convenience.

Beautiful palm trees and a path that leads around the lake to burn off those extra sausages you may have consumed.

Great fishing spot best time to go incoming tide bout 2 hours from full tide as they open the barrage gates which connect to the sea

A lovely small park at the bottom of West Lakes, the inlet is where salt water enters at high tide. And this must make it a good spot for fishing, as one of the features is a fish cleaning station.
There is also a toilet block, off street carpark, 2 covered picnic tables and a large playground.
This is a great starting point for a dog walk at West Lakes, must be on a lead on the path.
Or cross the road to Grange Recreation, a massive fenced park for an off lead wander.
Kit voted for off lead

Beautiful well kept park for family visits. Some man made reefs installed in Lake which provides some fishing opportunities.

Both the bbqs are not working light on but no heat. Of course the hard working council can only be contacted weekdays

Easy access to the fishing spots and the dunnies are only a short walk or wheelchair ride away.

Peaceful, clean reserve with two barbeque areas and a playground within minutes of Grange Beach. Perfect for rowing enthusiasts and casual fishing. Close to public transport. Nice spot to take a few moments before heading to Westfield West Lakes to do shopping or go to the cinema

This is the southernmost tip of West Lakes. There's a big playground. You can barbecue and fish. Parking is convenient. The toilet is nearby.

Only place on the Metropolitan coastline that has fish cleaning facilities.
Kudos to City of Charles Sturt for such an appropriate improvisation.

Next thing needed for the Reserve is a muzzle & chain for an iconic resident that frequently patrols the area
masquerading as
The Gistapo taking on the role of Fun Police.

Great place to relax and have a rest, also nice place for a walk around the lake. A nice spot for a short fishing session, along the grass and play ground area. Not around the residential area. No fishing allowed sign, the playground area Is well maintained kids enjoy it. Highly recommende.

Nice and clean, easy access to launch kayaks, small beach, and a nice walking loop around the lake.

This is a family friendly location. The public facilities are normally well kept here thanks to the council. An electric bbq is here for you to use, and the general area is kept pretty clean. This is perhaps the location where you can easily have access to a wide range of fish species. I have caught flounder, flathead, salmon, gar and juvenile whiting, and a twenty nine centimetre black bream here which I returned to the water. Sadly I've not been successful in hooking a mulloway here yet, but someone next to me did manage to hook up to a fish (So frustrating!) It was slightly under sized which made me feel better somewhat. I'm told the northern end is more productive for mulloway but the amenities are better at this end. In the past it has been reported there was a giant octopus located here, you would need to check media reports as I can't remember the exact details.

Just really needs a shade cover over playground & fence around playground cos of water-Westlakes! Beautifully done with shelter-shade over BBQ's & seating area!
