Indian Spice Authentic Cuisine reviews
64Enjoyed my dinner time with my family. One of the starter items that we ordered. My favourite paneer tikka. Loved it. Full of flavour. Can't wait to have my mains food. Worth coming with family. Kids enjoyed a lot. Will definitely be back.
One of the best restaurant for Indian food I visited.ambience was cosy and staff was very nyc. Food was delicious. Enjoyed a lot with my sisters. Must vist
The food quality has tremendously gone down. We ate last weekend and the taste isnt the same at all for the price that they charge, you can get much better food.
Dal makhani, veggie jalferazi and naans not worth the money. We ordered chicken tikka and couldnt make out whose
Meat it was, it was so so so bad.
Do yourself a favor and give this one a skip.
Ordered daal makhani on uber eats. Flavour was very good but kidney beans were undercooked, they were still firm on the inside. Didn’t want to risk it so ordered food somewhere else.
Having a nice curry dish on a Sunday Afternoon. I had a lovely curry taste in my mouth. Very Delicious.
We used to order from Indian Spice a few years ago, before the fire. Back then it was amazing - right up there with the best Indian food we have eaten. Gave it a shot over the long weekend, and boy, have things changed. I ordered a lamb Madras, and my wife ordered a prawn Malabari, both favorite's of ours. To start with, they both looked identical, but it didn't stop there. They both TASTED identical too! I'd say just the same base gravy with different proteins. The prawns were very small, tough and obviously frozen (even tasted freezer burnt). There were no curry leaves, cardamon pods, mustard seeds.any aromatics at all in either curry. They were also both extremely salty. Drinks were expensive too - $15 for a base vodka and raspberry. Avoid if you want authentic Indian.
Went to this restaurant and had chicken tandoori which was chicken with a red sauce poured over it. This was followed by a chicken balti meal and a vindaloo. Both meals were full of salt and the sauce for both meals was exactly the same. A total waste of money.
Came here on new years. Was busy but food came fast one of the best places to eat.staff are grate
Comfortable and spacious seating
Friendly customer service
Food was tasty and served hot (asked for spicy, but didn’t get)
Sadly, we won't be back, to what was our favourite Indian eatery. We normally go through the menu, and order far too much. We decided against it and went for the banquet. The waitress assured us that the dishes other than the vindaloo, were mild. No such animal as mild in that! It was far too spicey for me! One bite full was all I could take from each serve.
Add to this, the very loud large group, the sort that likes to let everyone know what a good time they are having. I asked the waitress if she would ask them to be quieter, they didn't need to whisper, just all stop yelling at once. She agreed but then just walked away.
Our quiet celebration ruined.
The absolute bomb! Fresh, tasty and great service. It's a pity we are not locals as this would definitely form part of our regular eats
The food was fairly good, but the service was pretty average and the waitress just seemed like she was going through the motions and trying to get us out as quickly as possible.
Why do these guys always put you on the smallest possible table (and refuse to move you), even when there are other larger tables available? Five people ordering 6 shared mains, multiple rice and naan, as well as drinks and we get jammed onto a table for four.
Staff were attentive and service was exceptional. Food was very tasty with spices just right. Diverse selection from all regions on the menu. Ample drinks list. Sensational.
Food was really good. We had Volcanic hot Chicken Vindaloo and hot lamb madras. If you like hot spicy food, this had the perfect amount of heat. Your lips and tongue get that tingle. Garlic, cheese and chilli Naan was FRICKIN awesome. Didn't wait long for meals, service was quick and friendly.
We had a diner with but allergies and the restaurant would not change one dish in a banquet to cater for her. The manager would not even talk to us. We walked out. Will never recommend or go to this restaurant again.
Based on taste alone, the food was quite good. It allowed us to gain access to a range of curry selections. The flavours tasted good - a 7/10 for most curries. The garlic naan was good - 8/10. The dessert was alright. Overall not a bad place and in a very convenient location in Mosely Square.
Outstanding food! Soooo many delicious options, especially for vego/vegan. Really loving their food and a little bit addicted haha. Easily some of the best indian I've ever had and I'll definitely be having more
Best food in Adelaide as i come from sydney today they make my day.people should try it.keep it up glenelg indian spices rocks️
This would be my most favourite food right now in Glenelg (since I found out about the place just before Xmas).
I like spicy food and the chef can make your dish hot if you ask for it.
Chicken biryani rice, veg samosa, palak paneer, paneer tikka masala, and the garlic cheese and chilli naan bread are my favourite dishes so far.
I have been ordering for take away nearly every second night, so delicious and always consistent!
The staff are also very friendly!
Would leave zero stars if I could. The food was not very good quality and was overpriced. Gravy was nowhere near to the traditional cheese gravy. Onion Salad was so rotted I had to throw it away.worst dine in I have ever experienced. Go ANYWHERE else.
