IKEA Restaurant reviews
18Great place to have a quick snack or even main meal after shopping for furniture. Food is decently priced and it’s always pretty good. The meatballs is a classic, the jam is the highlight. Swapped the potato mash for chips which I thought was a good decision. The customer service here is always amazing, staff are so nice. The garlic bread on the other hand was really stale which was a bit disappointing. The seats are really comfy here though.
This Ikea, and its restaurant was equally impressive.especially with their tasty vegan n vegetarian food
There was a line on Sunday for lunch but it moved quickly. The veggie pasta was delicious. The chips were alright. The cinnamon buns were on the dry side though. The garlic bread was so good.
New breakfast omelette replacing scrambled egg. Yuck! Breakfast has really gone downhill. Coffee machine always has issues & often not working. Today both were not working.
I love their veggie meatballs. OMG! They’re so delicious. I didn’t like the red jam like spread on the plate. However, the rest is. I find the pricing reasonable as well. I shared this portion with my husband. It was filling as well.
Had the ribs which had at the best 50g of meat attached, fish and chips with the fish so over cooked that we couldn’t even cut with knife. Salmon hard as the table. Usually it’s been a pleasant experience but today everything was bad really bad. The semifreddo it’s a frozen dessert and is served from a fridge (don’t call it semifreddo if you are serving a mousse)
I usually enjoy the experience here. But I feel it's getting worse.
The fish meal was chicken, and the coffee has been consistently super bitter. The pricing has really gone up, which is okay, but the quality has gone down.
I see they have got a barista coffee available at the restaurant, but they should at least sort out some better machines for those that purchase the usual coffee.
For a basic meal it’s ok went in for the breakfast with pork sausage was keen but they didn’t have any and we we went there first thing in the morning as it opened and it’s sold out… what lol. But over all good and it’s hard to find a bargain for a meal but your get your money’s worth
I always enjoy a meal experience here, I don't know why. The food is always pleasant although obviously not Michelin class.
Perhaps it is the clean, bright airy wide open space, the tables are far apart and the ambience is always so comfortable. And staff are always friendly.
Perhaps it is fond memories of how this place is such a big favourite of my kids when they were little.
Horrible staff, rude, not helpful, treat customers as a disturbance to their day. Appaling and disappointing experience. The managers are no better than the staff on the floor.
It's good that IKEA has a restaurant in its store, very convenient. However, not much can really be said for the food. The meatballs are satisfying when you're hungry from shopping, but I wouldn't reccomend anyone to go out of their way to get them, they are quite bland. If you're having a long day at IKEA, it's great that you can get a meal under $10 (8 meatballs, peas and potato is only $8). If you join the 'IKEA family' (free to join) you can occasionally get deals for the restaurant.
Avoid the coffee, first cup burnt second cup just awful. I'd rather drink international roast. Chicken balls are also gone now replaced with vegan balls, which aren't bad. Better check if their gluten free if your allergic. Foods pretty basic but not bad. A bit over priced, was cheaper in the beginning. $4.50 for a small bottle of apple juice is a bit much.
Food was cold, service rushes you through so you don't get a chance to think. 'Baked' potatoes tasted like they had been bathed on vinegar. Worst experience.
Sold me 80% of a kitchen, wait 6wks, told in stock.waste half a day to find out all gone again.useless
Quite decent food for the price. Nothing amazing but what you would expect from canteen style cafeteria food. Fairly busy on a Thursday night but the staff seemed to manage people very well and the line was moving very fast. Definitely try the meatballs, and the pear cider is delicious!
We always love this place. If we don’t find a good restaurant then go to Ikea. Healthy food choices, half the price of restaurant and awesome view.
They need to put more thought into how to clean cutlery effectively, I mean just look at the pictures.
Love to see a little more range throughout the day. We prefer the smaller take away restaurant downstairs for a quick hot dog or ice cream on the way out after shopping.
