The cashier no: 13126889, with the black color hair.around 170cm
He is a very rude guy!
Unprofessional and impatient attitude makes me really sick! I even had kid with me, super unfriendly.
IKEA NO need this kind of employee, very shameful!

A couple of things about visiting here:
1) This IKEA store is large and spacious. 2) The store offers a childrens play area but it always feels like it's overbooked and you end up spending your first hour just waiting on availability for it.
3) If you buy food here then there's always a very long wait time. My advice, don't bother. They barely ever have enough staff on hand to make the wait time less.
4) Furniture and food are relatively cheap, but you'll have an Ikea catalogue feel to your house if you buy too much from here.
5) You'll obviously have to put the furniture together yourself.
6) The quality isn't always great.
7) Pay attention to all the boxes you'll need for a purchased item. Common for people to miss some detail and then have to go back to get it.
8) Staff virtually cannot be found if you need help.
9) This is not some place that allows you to quickly drop by and grab something. You'll walk a very long way in and out again for anything.
10) 1000s of items to choose from. Lots of variety.
11) Good location offered for those with a trailer.

It was a bad idea to go there today (Saturday), way to busy and I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to follow the arrows

Ikea Business- what a nightmare to deal with. Payment was made but they apparently couldn't find it even though proof of payment was shown. Back and forth for over a week trying to sort it out, now I find out the item isn't in stock anymore and have to wait about 3 more weeks
Editing to add I was contacted and a message was left telling me the day delivery was happening (dont know what time) and a day when installation was happening, again don't know what time. I am the customer, shouldn't I get a say in when I'm actually available for installation. I now have to sit home and cancel appointments for 2 days this week waiting

Love shopping here, checkouts are chaotic as usual. Was looking for the new scan as you go option but couldnt find any information in store on that. I doubt they have it there yet

Poor phone answering service. Can never get through. No call back service. Just waiting online for over 30 mins with a voice saying please wait on the line. Happens EVERY time.

Has things you want, things you don't want and things you never knew existed. Shame they don't sell the ABBA herring anymore.

IKEA is the place to go for anything affordable for home decoration. We like the restaurant and their vegetarian food which is simple and nice to eat.

Ikea is of course all that's wrong with today's throw away culture and cheapo made-in-china household stuff. Everything is bought new and then flogged on Gumtree for next-to-nothing or just put on the hard rubbish when it's time to move/upgrade/change. Once you're over that little hurdle, the store is actually okay when compared to other locations, including the fact that one can enter direct into the Marketplace without having to meander through halls and halls of kitchens, bedrooms and offices, as often in other Ikeas. Check out lines are normally fairly quick, specifically the assisted self-checkout. Parking is good and there's always room.

What's not to love.

Purchased 4 besta cupboards. Was split into 2 deliveries so our first delivery was just the 4 cupboards with all the hinges and brackets. Had to wait 4 weeks for the shelves and doors which was missing 4 doors and then noticed we are short of brackets too. Still waiting for our missing box 5 weeks later and ikea can’t tell me when I will get it. Customer service is terrible. Can’t speak to anyone without being on hold for over an hour.

IKEA is an interesting store and an interesting concept where a manufacturer sells its own products and likley recoups high margins on the products they sell. The problem that is that too many of their products are actually substandard and I've spent way too much time going back to the store having to replace what I have bought, which is annoying and a waste of time. The flat pack concept is also very fascinating, you buy something at about 10% - 50% cheaper than a product that is already assembled, however you spend anything from 1 to 4 hours actually finishing the manufacturing of this product yourself and given the average Australian wage, especially over the weekend you can easily add anything from $50 to $200 of your own labour onto the cost of the product, which actually makes the product of very expensive and very uncompetitive. If you happen to accidentally damaged an unassembled IKEA product while you are putting it together yourself, well bad luck you've lost your product and you end up with damaged goods, a total waste of time and money, this simply will not happen with a product that's already been pre assembled. The other annoying thing about this store is the absolute lack of service, IKEA is a very large store with almost no one there to assist you which is very frustrating. To be fair, the store does sell a lot of quality innovative merchandise amongst their not so great products.

It's a typical IKEA shop, cross between a furniture shop, a psychological experiment and a prison. Study the map, learn which numbers go with which section, find the shortcuts between zones. The staff are actually really helpful on products and how to escape. Buy the meatballs at the end of it all. Check out the second and returns just before the check outs.

Very disappointing, every thing i need wasn't in stock. No staff to assist. Took an item to casher who took it away saying it was a display item, was very rude about it. There were two items of this on display, why if there not for sale. Just to lazy to look up the code. Would have been happy to take display item. Lost a customer for life.

I think much of anything IKEA sells (besides the suspiciously cheap hotdogs -which I recommend with onion, cheese and sauce) but hanging around IKEA is certainly a fun way to spend some time.

Pretty amazing. The issue is almost EVERYTHING I went there to get in the first place was not available which I found to be extremely frustrating, but I am pleased to say I was very happy with the alternatives I found and my husband and I had a great time together looking through the store at all the new beautiful furniture we will be getting hehehe.
