IGA South Plympton reviews
16The people are nice, but they never have the most basic of items. Everytime I go there they have nothing that I need.
Horrible store with agressive staff.
I popped in there looking for a quick dinner carrying something I picked up from Aus Post from next door. A staff member chased down my car as I was driving off accusing me of stealing as I didn't buy anything
Local Business friendly
(even when nutters try to argue about cigarettes or silly racial stuff)
since the original or second original owners
Ease of hour
And ease
to get to as well helps
Bought berries for the kids lunches yesterday, said no receipt please, go to make their lunches this morning and they are all mouldy and furry. Absolutely disgusting!
Really nice people in there, when you need something quick and easy you can always come down to the IGA and get something
This store is open 365 days a year. Great fresh bread and fruit and veg. Also has many local food choices. Hard working and friendly staff. Always a pleasure to shop there
Worse place to shop. Went to buy a gift wrap. Came home, opened the packaging to find tht it was a clear paper (seemed like silver colour). Went back to the store and picked another colour (Green). Took it to the counter to ask if I could swap - the owner said no you can’t as the packaging has been opened (no problem and I understood his point). While paying for what appears to be a green colour, I asked the shopkeeper - can you please confirm if it is a green one. I don’t know and read the description is what he replied.
I told him that there is no description. He said I don’t know we only cell them so I can’t tell if this is a green one.what you are selling a product and don’t know what that product specification! Pathetic - overpriced, rude owner and with no knowledgeable of stuff he sell in his shop. Don’t waste your time there!
Great if you like paying a lot more than you should. I'll drive the extra next time and get a 2L milk elsewhere for the price they charge for 1L.
Having moved relatively close, I was pleased to see there was a shop like this within walking distance. When I went there, it was horrible. No range of items and the stuff they did have was kind of gross. Today i needed bread before work and thought "how bad could they screw that up? ". Apparently a lot. I don't know where they've kept it but the best loaf was in date by like 2 days and when pulling it out of the wrapper it was slimey?
I'd Give it no starts if i could.
I had a the most horrible experiences i only went for a 10pk of batteries and i lined up and when i was up to be served i said to the man i just want some batteries and had a quick look at the prices and turned to tell him which one I'd like and he had already started serving the next customer and ignored me and when i said i was having a quick look at the batteries he told me told take all the time i need and said whats your problem and the served the next lady with out a care.
Got most essentials but way overpriced! Only go here if there is no alternative, but since it's only open till 7 there always is an alternative.
Allce Honeycombe, I am looking, husband is collled Alan, I van nog vind her adres, thank hou and greetings from Holland
Friendly staff but things I have bought like fruit has been mouldy and expensive. I even bought a box of nappies and expiry date has been scribbled on. Looked like nappies were out of date. Something needs to be done about this iga. My 2 year old daughter and I felt sick after realizing we ate blueberries which were past the use by date.
Always friendly here, competitive prices, easy access off Marion rd, located on southern end of the row of shops
THE IGA STAFF ARE NICE BUT JUST A LITTLE EXPENSIVE FOR SOME PRODUCTS ALL IN ALL I HAVE GIVEN 4 STARS
We love to shop at the iga marion rd, the only problem is that when you go into the store 2 people give you a plastic bag but the other 3 people charge you, we are regulars there & usually spend around $100.everytime we go into the store, & they still want to charge for a bag, & if you bring a bag they wont pack your bags for you so there is no customer service
