They are life savers, they are there when you need them when others have packed up and gone home they are there for any last minute emergencies. Love them.

Love this IGA. However the young lad who was serving today needs a lesson on how to not only speak up loud enough to be heard when dealing with customers but also on enthusiasm and tone of voice. I THINK he said hello back when I got to the counter to pay. Heard something come out of him but no idea what. The only way I knew how much to pay for my 2 items was when I looked at the EFTPOS machine as again, he mumbled something really fast but no idea what! After I paid he asked if I wanted a receipt by abruptly saying "Receipt? " again barely loud enough to hear. Working with the public he really needs to be taught to speak up - I am not hard of hearing but I feel so sorry for those who are. Won't stop me going back there but this is a friendly community and he really didn't seem friendly in the least. This isn't the first time I've come across him but gave benefit of the doubt that he was new and a bit nervous. After a few times nothing's changed so perhaps further training in customer service is needed.

Great place to escape the heat… didn’t find anything I needed but the girl behind the counter was cute…

Good backup option when others close earlier or on public holidays. The selection if limited because it's a small store but it has things others don't, like individual Lollies like wicked fizz, you can buy individual ice creams and ice blocks too

We ordered a 2-litre fresh Golden North milk through Uber Eats because my dad is in palliative care and we don’t want to leave his side. It was delivered from Goodwood IGA. They substituted it with cheap 1 litre Black and Gold long-life milk. As if they don’t have fresh milk in stock, Are they trying to save a couple of dollars? Truly disappointing service.

Keeps after hours opening times. On top of lovely friendly staff they have pretty much everything you need.

You guys need to update your website.it still says U shut at 9pm but like I've found out a few times when getting there after 8pm but before 9pm YOUR ALREADY CLOSED.not great when relying on website for baby products or generalized items: (otherwise great service, nice staff.

"Fresh" veges were anything but. Bag of sugar snap peas were conspicuously mouldy. Broccolini was woody and past its prime. Spring onions dry and brown.

We like to support local traders and this has been our local supermarket for fifty years.
It is still Hazels to us and to quite a few other people too.
It would be a good marketing tool to return to the original name.
We love the friendliness of the staff, and that they respond to our requests.
Local shops like this are essential in a community. Big supermarkets can never replace them.

Well it was the first time that I ever visited your IGA Supermarket and the young attractive lady who to in very nice accented voice, I accidentally made her blush which was very charming reaction (it was nothing untoward that I said.) I think I shop there again one in the future. Shalom - Joseph

Open late. They stock some higher quality products than the usual grocery stores do. Not a huge selection and basics are more expensive than normal. Go here if you need something and it's late or if you want specialty cheeses or something of that nature.

This is my local IGA, I've shopped there for 8 years. OK selection and reasonable staff but in the last two years they made this chubby Greek millenial girl some sort of deputy manager. Usually I can overlook poor form but she really is the most insufferably rude and superficial person, the kind of person that should be kept away from retail and hospitality permanently. Her standard tactic is to ask you in a smug superficial manner how your day is and if you begin to reply she walks off and ignores you after your first sentence. I put up with her haughty millenial attitude problem for two years and then I decided that as a customer who has spent 1000s of dollars in that store and helped pay her salary I refuse to be repeatedly treated like that. I'm never going back there again. I literally go to a shop much further away now, that's how much two years of her smug attitude problem is enough for one lifetime

Has the business changed hands? Was surprised and disappointed by the surly and abrupt service today. Staff talking amongst themselves as if the shop is empty. Checkout operator put my change on the counter, ignoring my outstretched hand. Not going back when there are do many other options.

Radio too loud. Forced to listen to Fitzy from season 4 of Big Brother. Floppy vegetables. No mozzarella.

IGA always has something nice like fresh soup on special and freshly squeezed Orange juice. Staff are helpful and friendly too.

Just what we needed after arriving home from our holiday interstate, late on Sunday evening. Friendly staff.

Has been my favourite foodland for a while, but quality has slipped recently. Too many special labels left out days after the special ended.

Lifesaver for being open until 9. Range is not massive but if you run out of essentials on a weekend you can always count on it to be open.

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and generally reasonable prices - even a bunch of selected excellent sale prices.
