My husband was a patient at ICON Kurralta Park for 20 months. There were many problems with the appointment system that caused us much distress and wasted travel. The specialists always run late and never took the time to review test results before the appointment so would give us the (invariably bad news) without any warning. The nursing care varied from very good to very rude. After my husband died from his cancer not one member of ICON contacted me to express their condolences.

Attending this site for the second time.
This time things have changed and a double Covid vaccination was required for entry. I like many others didn’t read the entire text message about this and was not prepared. (If your going to change the rules you might think it prudent to indicate this at the beginning of the text, not buried several sentences later).
I was on time for my appointment but has done to race back down to my vehicle to retrieve a proof of vaccination. I returned, waited in line to be seen by the “gate Guard” then went to the counter to indicate to the staff member that I was ready for my appointment.
A couple of minutes late the gate guard got up and told me that I could sit down as she had already marked off on her little computer that I was on site and ready to be seen.
50 minutes after my appointment was due I got up and asked what was going on. My attendance was not marked off on the computer and I was waiting around for nothing. Eventually I was seen by the doctor an hour after my appointment was due. The gate guard has deliberately delayed my appointment by over an hour, the doctor apologised but the nice young lady (not) didn’t even acknowledge me or apologise to me when I was leaving. I missed an important appointment with a client because of her, my treatment was seriously not good enough. I’m now going to lodge a formal complaint with her employer.
