9Hands down the best Thai joint in Adelaide! Don't let the takeaway vibes fool you; there are plenty of seats around. They've got it all, from classics like Pad Thai and green curry to salads and soups. Weekdays come with lunch specials too! So, for the two of us, we dove into beef salad, Prawns Pad Thai, and beef basil. The beef salad? A taste sensation – refreshing, not a tough bit of meat in sight. Total fave! Pad Thai, tasty but a tad sweet for our liking, and those noodles? Perfectly cooked. And then, beef basil with rice – nailed it. Just the right mix of fragrant basil and chili spices. Can't wait to explore more next time. Highly recommended!
The food is really lovely, it is ready really quickly, the staff are so friendly and kind. A good & quick option!
Third time and the last time. Complete rip-off. Worst effort at thai food ever, did you grab some drunk guy walking past and make him cook for the night?
This place is busy at lunch time for a reason. Quick refreshing meals prepared on the spot. Definitely worth a try and definitely you will be back.
Top spot for some cheap n cheerful takeaway lunch! Had the pad thai and it was generous and tasted on point thanks guys!
I had fried rice chicken with no vegetables, staff accommodated to my request.food was very good and staff were very friendly. I really recommend going here, lunch specials are also very cheap ($10.9-$12.9) :)
Are all these good reviews bought?
The curries are pre made and frozen in containers - as informed by the staff when we asked for less meat. (We had the beef massaman and saw the frozen container in person)
They're then microwaved to defrost in the plastic takeaway boxes upon ordering.
The steamed rice wasn't cooked. This was the second batch of rice we got and it was so disappointing.
Vermicelli spring rolls are actually standard spring rolls. Filo? They're just not vermicelli
The food is great with good sized portions. Staff are ok. 'Dine in' is not its strong point
Wholesome food just like mom’s cooking. A bit pricy but they taste really good so okay. Their dish is all tasty, on point! Their seafood salad is super delicious. Another great thing about I AM THAI is that they are Halal. Thank you for thinking of us Muslims, we now have a Thai place to go to. This place is good for families, as their dishes is made to share. Definitely coming back again.
