Worst coffee I’ve had in years. Piccolo is a disaster! Dear HJ, according to the staff this is the way the machine is setup. If that is true, don’t call it a Piccolo, call it -uke warm milk with two or three drops of coffee flavoured water!

5 workers just hanging around chatting taking time to serve… received our take away bag and found the extra tomato sauce we paid for wasn’t included.

I have no problem with hiring younger staff, but some customer service training would be good. Two young staff spent more time mucking around then serving and no senior staff seemed to care

The drive thru attendant had exceptional customer service. Was funny and charming. Had my wife laughing hysterically and complimented me on my tattoos. Made both our days better

Bought the new boneless chicken pieces. Commercial shows a guy eating large crunchy pieces. We got nothing more than 5 tiny soggy nuggets for $14.30. Total rip off.

Waited in the drive thru for around 40 minutes then was told chicken burger was not going to be ready for 3-4 min and had to park in waiting bay. 15 minutes later still no burger. So i went in to check and when i asked for my burger 3 people looked at each other wondering where it was! Absolutely hopeless! Apparently my order dropped off the system and no one was making my burger lol what a joke. I asked for a whopper because i was not waiting another hour for the right burger. Thanks for making my shopping in my car go hot and to top it off my whole meal was stale cold. I am So baffled as to how no one even seen my car sitting there. When i phoned and spoke with the manager she was clueless! Time for new management surely? Just need to look at the reviews to know that

We visited HJ's at Mt Barker with our 2 year old grandson mid morning on Thursday 13th April. As soon as we walked in the door, I was shocked at how filthy and grimy the whole place looked. There were food wrappers on the floor which looked dirty and greasy. There was squashed food on the steps up to the second floor eating area. The only areas for eating downstairs are one table outside, or a few tables down a very uninviting passageway that leads to the toilets.
When using the toilet with my grandson, I was horrified to see the state of it. I have never seen a dirtier toilet in a public eating place. There were stains and hairs everywhere inside and outside the toilet and I can honestly say it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The soap container was completely empty and hanging open off the wall.
The coffees we ordered were passable but not very hot.
I am sorry to say I will never go there again.

20 min wait after ordering was getting a bit much.

There were three orders that dropped off the system while I was waiting. People
Coming i and complaining that their delivery never came. Front counter staff looked like they were more of a hindrance than a help and in desperate need of training.

Unsure if it was new inexperienced staff or people calling in sick but this would be the second time in a fortnight where it’s been similar service

Kind of felt sorry for the duty manager this evening. You could see that she was getting reamed but powering through it all and getting it done.

Ordered via menu log at 6PM arrived at 1030 pm, stone cold! Requested refund and was denied.

Since when did the bbq breaky wrap shrink in size (see photo). Plus it was cold and hard as was the toastie, and the tomato tasted manky. Plus the upper play area is dangerous, it goes straight onto a small balcony with a very lower barrier. Only one toilet downstairs. How is someone in a wheelchair or parents with prams meant to get upstairs without a lift? And the parking and drive through set us socks. Plus the place is not very clean. Whoever designed this building must have had their eyes closed.

Place was absolutely filthy again! I asked staff to clean a table for us and she chucked the rubbish on the floor then “wiped” the table leaving it still dirty and saturated. Our order was also wrong.

The food always seems to be good, and they're not bad at getting the orders right. However, after walking into the place instead of using the drive-through, I was disgusted at the state of the place, to the point that I called the health inspector. The inspector agreed that the building was not up to par. I went back recently to see if it was any better, but it's not. It's time for a new manager.

Please guys lift your game. Upstairs tables was a mess. I ordered the beef tropical whopper everything was beyond cold and mixed up our order. If you want returning customers do so much better. We rotate takeaway every Saturday your restaurant is usually our last resort sadly.

In two years I’ve never had a single order without issues, from the poor customer service to the lack of any quality control I go out of my way to avoid coming back. If it wasn’t for the kids wanting the playground I’d have stopped coming a long time ago

Boy, hasn't things have changed since they opened. Burgers are smaller, looks nothing like what's on the meal board. Order screen is nothing but a joke. Toooooo small to read. Sound echo is is over the top. Needs better sound proofing. Poorly designed car and drive through.

Long wait for luke-warm food. Restaurant had cold air blasting (in Winter). Floors and tables were filthy. All in all pretty yuk.

Horrible service! Ordered on line for delivery, it took them 2.5 hours to get the order delivered! If I could I'll give it 0 stars.
