Hume Serviced Apartments

It was an extremely poor experience for me. The apartment counter was closed during its office hour and we were failed to contact with anyone for help with the contact number provided. We had stayed outside the apartment for around two hours before we could finally contact with the security guard for help. However, another disaster occurred after we entered the room as the room had not been tidied up. It was smelly and full of rubbish. We were completely dispirited at that moment and we finally decided to book and live in another hotel as we were informed that no one could provide any extra help to us until the next day. It was totally not recommended.

UN AUSTRALIA ADMINISTRATION.my booking was cancelled because I didn't get there before 4pm. I drove 3 hours from country with my Daughter for an appointment the next day. I arrived at 530 as the reception was closing and was told my room was rebooked and the hotel was full.due to a popular concert on that night adelaide was booked out so had to search away from my daughters appointment at triple cost.the bloke on reception didn't care. Appalling hospitality.

Great rooms - very comfortable. Location perfect - close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend

Getting a bit tired. Shower Soap dispenser broken. No face washers. Insufficient hand soap and toilet paper. The washing machine and dryer were handy. Could do with repainting.

No wifi. No service. Book a parking bay and didn't get one and staff just said oh yeah it happens.

U need high floor. We stay at 1st floor surrounded by other ppl balconies n its depressing. Beaides that the apartment is adequate in its own rite

Great customer service. Very average rooms. Our room was rank and our bathroom was moldy and gross. But Chris as reception was a really great guy and very helpful.

Had come to Adelaide for a wedding, had to leave early unfortunately due to a family emergency but Olivia made us feel welcome and helped us to check out early with a rebate. Could not thank her or recommend more than enough

Nice 2 bed room apartment. No aircon unit in the 2nd bedroom.
Leaky shower and loose bathroom faucet was the only negatives.
Quiet end of the city with plenty of cafes nearby

Can not thank Olivia enough for her service during our stay! She made the whole process so easy and was so accomodating and kind to us.
Accomodation was fantastic and the amenities were great. Will definitely be back.

The room itself was tidy and in a decent location. Nothing fancy but did the job. Frustrating experience with the $100 deposit however, it was demanded that I do it by credit card (not cash) on check in and that they would release the funds the day after checkout. I have now been advised that was incorrect and it is their policy to only release funds 7-10 business days after the visit (despite them confirming the room was fine after check-out). Very frustrating to be told incorrect information and to have my funds held for so long.

The apartment was clean with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was functional with dishes, utensils, pans, microwave etc but no oven. The air conditioning worked well too which is important in the hot summer months. Household supplies (dish soap, garbage bags, toilet paper etc) were all stocked. When we ran out, the staff graciously supplied more upon asking. We stayed three weeks here and enjoyed it. It is centrally located and close to buses, coffeehouses, restaurants, the Botanical Gardens, the National Wine Centre, etc. There is no parking available unless you pay $20/ day. We only had a car for a few days of our visit so we parked on the street at night which is allowed after 6 pm. During the day, street parking is limited to two hours so you need to move the vehicle if you are around the apartment between 8 am & 6 pm. The management needs to add a couple more garbage bins in the back as the bins always were overflowing at the end of the week before garbage collection day. Perhaps a deal could be reached with the apartment property behind Hume Apartments to add more garbage bins. I loved the Cockatoo that landed on our balcony and could be fed by hand.

Outdated no service despite booking and staying for 8 days. Bathroom falling to bits lots of items missing in kitchen.
Not a cheap place to stay and for tge price would have expected better.
When we took the rubbish down to the bins the bins were over flowing and smelling and were no different on the day we left.
On our 3rd night the guests in the rooms above us threw bottles and cutlery from their balcony to tge Street amidst a lot of shouting and screaming. Apartment staff did not clean up Street residents did. This behaviour went on for tge entire weekend.
No bin liners in the unit and very little by way of utensils.
Very disappointing and if I do not receive my $100 deposit back timely I will be writing to the owners personally

We booked DIRECT through the hotel and even put in our requests parking required… All was well and confirmed until we got there! When we mentioned parking, the manager came out the back room and told us we had to request parking and it was $20 a day, at the time of booking, no where on their website does it indicate $20 a day parking, the reason we chose this hotel is because it had parking as street parking is very limited to time and to permit holders only. When we showed the manager we requested parking in our booking, not only did she not apologise, but she went on to say how she has managed the hotel for a while and never had this problem (which led me to believe as to how defensive she was, this has actually happened multiple times before) maybe if you spent more time correcting your website, being polite, apologetic and less time being argumentative and less of a Karen then I would have also let the fact that the apartment we stayed in had missing kitchen wear, no hair dryer and out of date shower products slide under my radar too.

Good luck getting parking. Walk your things from up the street and leave your car up the road

Fantastic place to stay. In my first room, there were prawns stuffed inside the curtain loops. Funny place to keep them. They were great on the BBQ after a quick wash.

The rooms were clean and fresh. Ample supplies provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Inches away from bus stop. A brilliant place to settle your self to explore Adelaide from.

Clean, good size rooms, kitchenette, laundry, balcony, close to IGA, restaurants and bars, would definitely stay at the Hume Serviced Apartments again

Great spot with clean and comfortable facilities. The free bus basically on your doorstep is a fabulous bonus. Cafes and shopping very close to the apartments too. Great views

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was fantastic. Location is amazing and was perfect for the Fringe and visiting family. Good sized apartment with a balcony. Only downside was the second bedroom was a tad stuffy. #adelaide #fringe #southaustralia
