Hughes Medical Clinic

Becoming increasingly difficult to get an appointment, even when it’s for our kids. Can be a couple of weeks wait. They say best to ring at 8am to fill a cancellation but hardly any times available even then. Hardly any doctors working at later times of the day (from 4: 30pm onwards). If you do get an appointment for a time after lunch it’s sometimes a very long wait, have previously experienced wait times up to an hour and beyond. That’s really challenging with kids!

Every time I go there, I have to wait at least half an hour for my appointment, but I arrive once late, and they cancel my appointment. Not collaborative at all. Constantly increasing their cost. If you won't go there for a year, phone appointment is full price without Medicare cover. And so many other stupid rude people have to make life hard for people. I'm never going there again.

Dr Goodall is a REMARKABLE human being. When attending the Hughes Clinic we have always received excellent care & attention from the front desk to the doctors. We have a family member with a chronic illness & in our experience all the Doctors & staff have been professional, courteous, helpful & friendly. Certainly takes out a lot of stress out of going to the doctor!

Great service! From the moment you walk in I was greeted by their friendly staff. I was greeted by the tall gentleman, to be checked in and told Dr Tony Grant will be a few minutes. Dr Grant is the best GPs I have ever seen. His quick medicine and caring nature makes you feel that he truely cares and wants to provide me with the best/multiple solutions. Previously at other clinics I feel like I am just another patient who is told to drink water and take painkillers. Hughes clinic has never made me feel this way as there is never a dull moment even when I am feeling at my worst. Management should be extremely proud of the experience and expertise they offer to customers.

We’ve never had anything but great service at Hughes Clinic. To all the staff: a huge thankyou for all the work you have put in throughout these difficult times. I have witnessed first hand some of the grief you have been through and I just wanted you to know that you have all done a fantastic job, over and above what would normally be expected. See you again soon (but not too soon hopefully). Ben

Really disappointed. Unfortunately Dr Kelly was fully booked and I had to go to Dr Chunli Jiang. With all respect he can't speak english. He tried to explain my blood test result over the phone and I varely could understand half of his words. Then I sent an email to Hughes Clinic and asked for a copy of my blood test result, so I can show it to another doctor. They ignored my email and my follow up email.

The doctors are great and the reception is always very accommodating. Thanks, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very nice and caring staff, Dr Tony Grant is so nice and caring and so is other doctors. Everytime me and my family had any medical issues the clinic and doctors did their best to follow it up.

I've been attended to by the medical staff here all my life. Everyone at the front desk is always very helpful and the doctors will always treat you to the best of their knowledge.

If you're looking for somewhere new to see a doctor then it's worth giving this place a shot. It's location is ideal because it's located right next to a chemist and a physio.

Front Staff simply amazing, always helpful. Dr Grant simply the best. Great clinic. A lesson in how service should be.

I have been attending for nearly 15 years. Best doctor I have seen in Australia. Friendly front desk too.

My opinion on how I thought my problem is able to be managed was dismissed by the female doctor. My problem was not addressed, and no alternative management was offered. I came to a professional with a problem, and I left with same problem - I could have saved $74 and dealt with it myself with over the counter medication (that is what I will be doing).
Very poor patient management - this doctor has an interest in palliative care - may God help her patients.
The one star is awarded because I have to, in order to post this review.

Doctor Williams deletes bad reviews as he is deficient in his medical knowledge of certain medications and my reviews keep getting taken down. I left this surgery - with the medical file to show his lack of general due care - beware.

Been coming here for over 10 years now, always friendly, can be busy at times but to me it's worth the wait
