HOYTS Salisbury reviews
43This place has amazing quality! One time I took my three children here to watch the barbie movie and they absolutely loved it, but they kinda did not agree with the ending of the movie resulting in them now longer doing what i tell them to but ive worked it out with them anyways barbie movie was amazing!
Excellent seating, small queue, friendly service, great selection of snacks, plenty of close restaurants to eat at, close public transport, cheap tickets, what more could you want! Usually any good seats available 2hrs before the movie.
Went for a film 23rd Dec - The food counter was closed at 9.30 pm and during interval, there was nothing to grab. I asked the counter girl Jasmine if I can get a popcorn refill and drinks in interval for a 9 pm film, she said yes. Had she said no we go home leaving you with no choice could have bought extras.
Unprofessional
The seats were very comfortable and the music quality system was perfect but the only thing which i missed was the tray stand for the food with seats.
The staff, and manager were so very friendly and helpful today! Helped me change my online ticket session time.
Booked our tickets through the app. Was easy to get our order started as we arrived so that there was less of a wait at the front counter. Awesome service
The absolute worst movie experience I have ever had! I was so insulted by rudely being accused of sneaking into the movie theatre. Half way through the movie after I had been to the bathroom, a security guard followed me from the bathroom to my seat, only to shine their torch in my face and the people I was with making them pull out their digital tickets and then take a photo, and then saying I need to show my proof of my ticket. I have never been so poorly treated at a cinema. I was a paying customer and when we asked to speak to management about the issue after the movie I was given no apology, and all they tried to do was justify their poor actions. Disgusting service and absolutely ruined my movie experience. They then tried to put it back to us and after back and forth for a while still refused to apologise, security saying was told by manager and the manager saying security told her
Absolute joke Hoyts - you'd think the amount you guys charge at the snack bar and for tickets you would actually offer some customer service!
Good cinema but bad experience with the Covid-19 restrictions. Uou should have someone go around during the Ads and make sure the groups are seperated. We have a group sit next to us and we are very uncomfortable.
Definitely not following Covid-19 restrictions and no one is checking or enforcing the current seating arrangements
Definitely during these tough and unprecedented times these rules/seating should be enforced more.
100% disappointed and not sure if we will come back.
Good place for movies. Cheap tickets too. Food is very expensive. Best part is the reclining chair.
Great cinema, good number of screens and I've found it to be well cleaned in my experience.
I'm way north of Adelaide, and I come here instead of Elizabeth because I prefer it, even though it's a bit further. Lots of good places near by to get a bite to eat
This cinema is the best I've ever been to. I found the prices cheap. Maybe not for everybody though. The seats were very comfortable and clean. I love the reclining feature too. The noise was a bit loud though but that's ok. I definitely recommend this cinema if your trying to find a nice comfortable cinema
5 star cinema with parking adequate. Skip the rush and try hoyts cinemas sunbury and get good discounts on movies running and get a membership totally worth it you end up saving money for the next movie date
This was my first time at this cinema The service staff is great and the theatre was neat and clean.
We order a pizza which was nice and the lady that was serving us saved us form drinking pure soda water and replaced our drink swiftly
The seats were to die for. They are sooo comfortable. The theatre is clean and when we were there not at all overcrowded, enjoyed the movie but no staff were really visible
Stood at counter waiting to collect food and drink for 30 minutes while the three available staff were having a chat with teenagers and joking around. Finally get served and my popcorn was obviously the first they made that day and drink had no ice. Nobody manning ticket booth either and when there was someone, they were playing on their phone then disappeared for ten minutes to “find the ticket scanner” and then took 5 minutes to type a 7 digit code so missed part of the movie. Going to avoid HOYTS from now on.
A delightful cinema, it's obvious they've put thought into the Reno's they did, it has a nice ambience, staff are friendly & helpful
Where's the practice of social distancing, I booked seats c9 & c10 and afterwards Salisbury Hoyts has assigned seats to a walk in family of 4 up to number c8 with no distance at all.
Went and saw Dream horse. A really good film set in Wales (not far from where my husbands mother was born). Only a few people in there.
The seats are nice and wide but otherwise really frustrating. It would be better if you could put your feet up without the seat going back. It means if you want to sit up you have no support behind you. There is no way to sit without your feet up because the seats are so high up and my feet just dangle.
