We got our wedding cake from How Sweet It Is- Stephen was a delight to work with and the cake itself was even better! We had a 4 tier cake, with 2 alternating flavours (biscoff and white chocolate & raspberries). Stephen organised small cake portions for tasting a few months before the wedding (they all tasted very good!) and got delivery sorted for us on the day. Thank you Stephen for being part of our wedding dream team!

I ordered a cupcake tier cake for my 50th and the design turned out amazing. Very professional. I chose a combination of flavours for the cupcakes and the cake itself. The mud cake is like no other, it's absolutely delicious. Steven was an absolute pleasure to deal with and due to this, I will be ordering my cakes here for life. Thank you Steven.

I can't recommend Stephen from How Sweet It Is highly enough. He made my wedding cake with less than 2 weeks notice (due to my other arrangements falling through last minute).
He's made all of our birthday cakes, surprise party cakes, cup cakes, cake pops etc. He offers a large variety of flavors to choose from, which are all delectable and moreish. Stephen is the best in the business!

I couldn't wait to write this review, it's long but worthwhile. I am beyond impressed with Stephen and his impeccable service.

I called How Sweet It Is a mere 6 days prior to my mum's 50th birthday, as I had an order with another bakery who were too busy for me, and in turn I had to find a new baker - and fast. I came across How Sweet It Is by Googling a wedding bakers in Adelaide and was delighted to see on their website the cake shape/design I was after for the birthday cake.
I promptly called explaining my situation and why I had such a short timeframe and Stephen told me he was 'committed' to my order, and ensured me he'd have it ready for the following Monday.

A few email exchanges here & there and by Sunday night, Stephen's gone and emailed me he can DELIVER the cake to me on a MONDAY when he's closed and you bet he was at my doorstep exactly on time when he said he would be with the most perfect cake, exactly as I envisioned, in his hands. I tipped 25 extra dollars to the quote (VERY AFFORDABLE MIND YOU. WOW.) for the incredible and friendly service.

My mum was in awe at the cake and we sat down tonight to eat. After leaving it out of the fridge for approx 10 hours it was the most perfect texture, dense and flavourful - I ordered the Chocolate/Kahlua flavour and you really can't go wrong here. It was perfectly balanced and the fondant was beautiful. It was almost too gorgeous to eat, but so delicious and decadent. Like a movie cake.

Thank you so very much How Sweet It Is for being the cherry on top of my mum's 50th birthday and giving us something so amazing to remember the day by. Your service, kindness, and commitment to me with a short lead time only to deliver top notch results is something I will share with everyone. My partner ordered a large birthday cake for the 25th of march. Was forgotten about it was picked up on the 27th

Ordered chocolate mudcake.
Received salted caramel or caramel (not chocolate)
Received sponge cake (not mudcake) no contact made for changing flavour of the cake.

As a result nobody ate the cake since we don't like caramel.

How sweet it is amazing place they make cakes Speciality ones. Weddings Birthdays Christenings etc etc. The owner is a lovely man. It's not a cake shop for coffee and cakes. It's in King William Rd Adelaide. Check him out if you need a cake for any event.

Stephen did a marvellous job and produced a cake with such intricate details that our son got mesmerised. With just couple of calls, Stephen understood our requirement and the whole process of ordering the cake with ‘How sweet it is’ was contactless and effortless.
The difficult job of copying the figurines was done perfectly. Our son didn’t just eat the cake but also played with the figurines for quiet some time. We don’t think we will be going anywhere else for customised cakes in the future. Thanks Stephen and team for making our son’s birthday so memorable.
