Great location in the middle of town. Convenient parking at Wilson's behind hotel. Very spacious rooms. Michelle is a superstar, she organised our rooms over three different stays without a problem, she made us feel very welcome, I believe she went above and beyond helping us out. Highly recommended Hotel Richmond.

My close girlfriend had her wedding reception at the venue.
Upon arrival the table setup was not as she originally asked - I went to speak to the manager & her response was rude with no explanation. Afterwards she approached the bride & I & instead of politely explaining why, she was again, unpleasant, rude & condescending - we understood her explanation but she did not need to be so hostile especially to the bride!
The bar staff weren’t pleasant & seemed reluctant to be there let alone serve us.
I went to pick up the wedding cake on the following Monday which the manager had told the bride it would be cut & put into takeaway containers - the gaming staff brought out an entire cake cling wrapped poorly in a box - I am not a big person so carrying that to my car by myself was frustrating as it was so heavy!
Food was average, service below average & the rude manager; her attitude was appalling from the beginning & throughout the afternoon & if you don’t like interacting with customers then don’t work in hospitality!
I come from working in hospitality management & I would NEVER speak to any customer the way she did to us & being a Wedding event you would think her & the staff would be more proactive to making sure the day went smoothly & be as pleasant as possible!
I will not recommend anyone to have an event at the venue nor will I ever return.

We had our wedding here and it was amazing! We had the best time! The venue looked absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. We all stayed at the hotel and that was great- so convenient.
Definitely glad we decided to get married here.

Michelle und ihre Kollegin sind unheimlich hilfsbereit. Wir haben unsere Jacken im Outback vergessen. Sie haben alles getan, damit wir wieder unsere Jacken bekommen (sie haben deswegen sehr viel herumtelefoniert und uns unsere Jacken per Express schicken lassen). Vielen 1000 Dank für die freundliche Unterstützung

Perfect location to stay for in Adelaide events. Rooms are very comfortable.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only suggestion would be to find a way to get a sink close to the coffee making area (might be something unique to the room we stayed in.)

Convenient location. There were three events on the Sat night that I stayed and hotel fore-warned there will be noise until 12am which is very true. There is no such thing as quiet room as music was playing in level 2 and below and you hear it no matter the room you stayed. If u need to sleep early, maybe avoid to come stay on a Sat night as there could be events. Strong water flow for shower and plenty of food choices around. Note Coles and Woolies around the hotel close quite early. Hotel is clean and room is spacious.

We could not find the hotel's parking, eventually we parked at another parking lot. Then, since there is no reception after 6pm, we called 3 times, but nobody returned our call. We waited over an hour until someone from the hotel, let us in.

From the first phone call and checking in, the service at reception was outstanding. Cheerful, friendly and willing to do anything to assist in our stay. The room and location could not be better. No better place to stay in the city. Will be back for sure.

Food was good, service from one young lady was very average at the bar and food! Got the mai s before the starters, said I thought you wanted them to come out all together, no!

I had my 40th over the weekend and although everything looked amazing, I am extremely angry and emotionally upset that my bag which had sentimental cards, gifts and bits and pieces from the kids table in it, had been thrown away! With no care in the world! Their excuse, they didn't know anything was to be kept! If it's someone's belongings, don't throw it away!
These are things that can't be replaced! And it breaks my heart!
I had 2 rooms for the night, so there was no reason why they couldn't put everything in one of the rooms!
On the kids table i had some nice smelling texters so the kids could colour in a plastic table cloth with pictures, puzzles etc on it, stickers, edible pens that the kids used to decorated their cookies (which we're expensive), bits and pieces, all thrown away!
Like stated earlier, I am extremely angry and emotionally upset! More so with my sentimental gifts and cards that can't be replaced!

This hotel is definitely good value for money, quiet clean, cumfy beds, all day dining, direct access to the mall and lots of restaurants, large bathroom good shower.

The manager Michelle was very friendly, prompt, and helpful with organising an after hours check-in. The room was clean and quiet. Perfect location too. Will stay here again.

Attended this establishment on a Saturday afternoon with roughly 7 friends, the girls behind the bar were lovely and helpful until a gentleman with short hair and a beard reluctantly wanted to seat us and refused service after a few short minutes. Looked like a promising establishment but due to poor management we will not be attending again. A shame because the establishment would have made a significant amount of money from our group.

Very pleased with the Staff. Highly enjoyed eating meals on the balcony overlooking Rundle Mall. Would book again

This place is a disgrace, never have a function here they will kick you straight out if you have had more than 2 beers like me. 3 beers in when we have booked the whole bottom floor they have decided to cherry pick people to thin the herd, less than half that wanted to see the buck off never got too. NEVER BOOK HERE

Great place to have a drink on a nice day with a good view over Rundle Mall. Good spot to "people watch" whilst the wife is shopping.

Lovely venue with understanding staff, went there on an event and employees were watching out for everyone to make sure we had a safe night.

Lovely place, very pretty inside. Nice friendly happy staff. Was so nice to sit and eat and drink out on their balcony.

What a gem we have found! Great location, amazing staff, super clean room and a comfy bed too! Well done Hotel Richmond, we'll be back!
