Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets, an IHG Hotel

Our breakfast at Indigo hotel was an absolute delight! The barista at the coffee counter deserves a standing ovation for whipping up the most amazing brews – seriously, each sip felt like a morning hug. The coffee itself was top-notch, like they've got magic beans or something. But what really made our day was the super friendly Phanthira serving us. She had the biggest smile and made us feel like old friends catching up. With her around, the whole place felt like a cozy home away from home. If you're after a breakfast spot with killer coffee and a side of warm vibes, Indigo hotel is your jam. We left with happy hearts and caffeine-fueled smiles – couldn't ask for a better start to the day!

The food at the Meander is fantastic and highly recommended! The executive chef Gab did a good job!

Lovely hotel with great hospitality and incredible amenities. From start to finish service was excellent with Dushan and the front office team leading the way. Hotel is very centrally located in Adelaide CBD, situated a stone throw's away from the Adelaide markets and Chinatown district. More importantly our room was spotless and king beds were luxurious.

This is the Fourth time we stayed and it will definitely be the last. Last time the reservation team and reception at the hotel got our booking so wrong. “ upgraded “ to a suite. When in fact we had already paid the premium price for this. Also had to screenshot their own website price as they were trying to charge us double the extra for 4 nights
This time. Although I received a confirmation of booking email. They thought it best to cancel my booking without informing me. Not answering their phone calls because I was out of the country is not a good enough excuse. Nor is offering a cup of coffee for such a massive inconvenience.
As a member and regular customer when in Adelaide they could not be more incompetent. I stayed in 10 hotels internationally in the last 6 weeks. This is the only place where they couldn’t honour the booking as they had agreed.
No other hotel ever “ rang” to confirm a reservation. A confirmation booking email. Should be that. A confirmation.
This is indigo Adelaide chasing the Christmas dollar obviously. Very poor service and thankfully so many more quality hotels in Adelaide. Be warned

Located in the very center of China Town Adelaide and a just one step from the Market! The hotel architecture is very peculiar, the concept is to be "at home", as you enter you find a very welcoming bar area just before the actual reception and then the feeling as to be in your place, everything is so cute and researched. The rooms are structured in a very modern way with a touch of an architect I'm sure, and with very fancy solution especially for the wardrobe area and the washroom. Bed is so comfortable and warm as well as the coffee/tea area which offers a good selection of teas and espresso coffee including coffee machine and even drinking chocolate. The fridge is well organized and stuffed with wine beers and soft drinks selection.
Just one thing I suggest should be reviewed is that the hotel management decided to charges customers for local calls. I think this shouldn't be done. I'm pretty sure local landline calls within the city are kind of free for them. Anyway, fully suggested at Top Level!

Such a dumb service of this hotel Today, I received a call from the manager of this hotel, instead of apologise he is very rude over the call and for not giving me any refund or credit he is questioning me why did you put negative reviews on us. Beware from them, they are scammers

Once again Hotel Indigo you have out-done yourself with your fantastic venue, friendly staff and outstanding customer service. The rooms are gorgeous and clean, and in the perfect location to get to wherever you need to go. Thank you so much for looking after us, we had an awesome time and will definitely be staying here if we are ever back in Adelaide.

Ps, thank you so much for organising a birthday cake for my colleague. It was delicious and very much appreciated. Your customer service gets 6 stars. +.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the Adelaide Market precinct. Surrounded by lots of restaurant options & with the market just steps away you can’t get a better location. Lovely decor, very stylish rooms & overall feel of the hotel. We didn’t have the best weather but the pool deck would be a great experience when the sun is shining. Definitely worth staying on a city break to Adelaide.

Beautiful room and lovely location but my bed sheet had a stain so cleanliness was not very up to standards. Also shower was not working

Recently stayed more than one week at the Indigo, and can only rave about the staff, ambiance, decor, and food. Breakfast offerings are wondering, and the evening meals as well. Fun rooftop bar, and the rooms and facilities are top-notch. A great addition to the Adelaide hotel scene, easy access to Gouger St.and surroundings. Above all, the hard-working staff deserve special mention - it's a top team who made our group feel at home during an extended stay. Thank you!

Indigo Hotel is a great addition to the Adelaide hotel market, a genuinely cool, well-priced space in a superb spot.
Just around the corner from Australia’s best market – the Adelaide Central Market, and with Market St Café 2 doors down for breakfast or coffee.
It’s also right amongst the city’s Chinatown, with no end of great places to eat within a few metres of the front door.
The river and parklands are a fairly easy stroll, or, just walk up to King William and hop on the tram.
The fit out here is superb, bathrooms are huge and the inclusions are first class. My new top choice for Adelaide hotels.

Overall great place, hotel rooms are perfect for a small stay. Spendid views and the location is far enough from the main cbd to be quite, but close enough that you can walk to the main areas/tram stop.

Good experience, and safe stay at Indigo hotel. I lost my sun glass at the swimming pool, the front desk staff helped me to check it patiently, and they found it finally. Thanks!

Surprisingly great hotel. Rooms were very nicely laid out with great decor.definitely better than high end chain hotels' decor.

On top of this, was an excellent location right next to central markets. We had the best food around this area.

Top notch from Go to Whoa! I booked 2 King Premium Rooms with balcony for hubby and me and our 2 daughters for Christmas Eve. Rooms were lovely. We had cocktails at MerryMaker rooftop cocktail bar and ordered chips, eggplant sliders and cevichè. Staff were excellent. Went for a swim in the pool. So relaxing. Had lovely breakfast at Meander and Market Christmas morning and it was all delicious. Will be back.

We stayed for 1 night mid-week in December while visiting from Sydney and would highly recommend Hotel Indigo to other travellers. I had to adjust our arrival time and a staff member responded to my request promptly. Upon check-in, we were advised we were upgraded to a larger corner room, yay! Valet parking ($49) was handy as parking is quite limited and/or expensive in Chinatown and we had heavy bags.

The room was amazing and had features you'd expect from a 5 star hotel: comfy bed with luxe bedlinen, fluffy towels, quality toiletries, free wifi, local wines, pod coffee machine etc. There was even scales to weigh yourself before and after a meal (not recommended) or in my case, to make sure my baggage was within weight limit. I loved the nostalgic Adelaide Festival posters and Adelaide Central Market book in the room (a must buy!) that serve as a reminder of how amazing Adelaide is and how much I miss home.

The hotel is fabulously located, mere steps away from some of my favourite restaurants and across from the markets. Follow the spicy BBQ smell to Simon Taste across the street. Being Tuesday, it was a bit quiet in the city and the rooftop bar wasn't open but we enjoyed bubbly and cocktails at the restaurant downstairs before heading out to dinner to celebrate our engagement.

Check-out the next morning was a breeze and our car was brought around promptly at 11am as requested. Overall, a very relaxing experience and memorable for many reasons. Hotel Indigo was one of the best hotels we've stayed in in recent times and we'd happily recommend it to others. Thanks to all the lovely staff for such an enjoyable stay!

How can you accept a food order and forget about it?
We are starving here and waiting on our food and we get to hear a sorry in return!

Lovely boutique hotel. Quality restaurant. Nice views from the rooms. Very friendly staff. Rooms could be a fraction cleaner but otherwise great.

Excellent location, great service! Great food & service in the restaurant and an amazing roof top Bar!
