My first trip back to the Augusta hotel in many years, full of friendly faces overlooking the Flinders ranges. Port Augusta the gateway to the outback

I ate food there. OM NOM - 10/10 do recommend

Amazing schnitzel. Maybe the best in SA which is no easy feat. Happy to say I finished it, and the lovely lady working here provided a container for my Dad who didn't. I will return. Thank you.

Great evening and beautiful meals didn't have to wait long before the children's meals were served then the adults, fast and extremely friendly staff, well done a real credit to the owners of the hotel, and will we return, you bet we will.

Great service and friendly staff. Unfortunately food was not the best. Steak was tough and chewy and the chips weren't the greatest.

Seriously, I have been here a few times. First big rave I thought yeah maybe a coincidence… nah, no way. Not after tonight’s meal! Service was fantastic which is why we only eat here as the service is no better in any part of port Augusta, but the food again was to die for! Well done to you all! Chef! You did a ripper of a job mate.

Stayed for 2 nights near hotel Augusta and was recommended to eat here. Besides the local old grub in the blue shirt that obviously never leaves the place, never changes his shirt and Loves to comment on others business, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Had the steak sandwich which was probably the biggest and best I’ve ever had. On the second night had the burger and seriously was not disappointed! Huge servings and super tasty!

Well you won't leave here hungry! Ordered chicken pami & it was as big as my head. Doggo was happy to help me finish it. Hubby had crumbed prawns with the creamy garlic sauce was DELICIOUS! Not sure if it's technically pet friendly but I contacted them beforehand & they let us & our dog sit out on the deck. Need to walk through the bar to get to the deck.

Well Hotel Port Augusta you all did yourself proud. Management give your staff a pat on the back they have excellent service skills polite and they are happy in what they do. The meals were unbelievable sooo nice huge but we eat it all I would recommend this place for eating to everyone it's definitely worth eating at WELL DONE

Best steak sanga I’ve ever had. That good I literally just finished and had to review to let people know. Massive, tasty and tender. Best pub feed I’ve had for years. Amazing

The meals were great value for money my steak sandwich was huge! Great staff and the pub had a great old school feel to it.

Lovely staff and great, and I mean great, biggest chicken schnitzel I have ever seen, we'll be back.

Very pleasant lunch, meals were delicious & the view looking across the gulf, & watching the traffic crossing the bridge were relaxing. We'll be back!

Fantastic service with friendly staff. Food is always delicious and you won't leave hungry. Lots of areas to sit and view the water.

The service and atmosphere where fantastic.
The food was amazing and beautifuly presented. I had the chilli prawn noodles and my partner had the chicken parmi he said was the best he has had in a long time and it was huge. I would recommend this pub for sure nice back deck and other areas to sit.

We gave hotel 24 hours notice with orders to start meals at 12.00 midday, I had one hour meal break, first meal came out at 12.54, mine 12.57 i scoffed half down and left very, very frustrated. I wont return.

Great Service! We arrived late as dinner was finishing up with a tribe of small children, instead of making a fuss about the time they served us dinner and for a pub meal you could not fult it, we got a seafood basket, my wife hates fish and seafood and she even enjoyed the meal.

It was not greasy at all and everything was cooked perfectly on the plate the crumbed prawns, calamari and fish and chips were all spot on I wish everyone could cook fish and chips like this.in my top 10.

We also ordered a lamb shank and it was also perfectly cooked and the fresh rosemary on the side was great cause it gives you the smell without overpowering the lamb, yum.thanks chef!

This was one if the few times we have ordered a seafood basket or a lamb shank from a pub and not walked away feeling sick from all the greese. Was sooo good.

I can not fault this place, we stayed at the motel next door and that was also really good service and value, no snobbery here just really good food and good service and a clear fav for the locals. 10 out of 10

We had dinner at Pub last night. What a great feed. So much food. I'm a big eater couldn't finish it. Only $4 for a Zero Beer. Second cheapest Zero beer in Australia.
