We had the pleasure of working with Patrick Scoleri for our property in Modbury North yesterday. He was a friendly and professional gentleman who was amazingly thorough at his job. He went above and beyond to explain to us the processes, and gave a lot of detail into his findings. He was very engaging, and also provided many photos to accompany his explanations on the property. There is without a doubt that we will use this company for any future investments. If you are looking for building inspections, this is the company to go for. We will definitely recommend to all our friends and family who need inspections done. We are very grateful for his help!

We employed this company " Homemasters Building Inspections" for peace of mind!

Property Inspectors report says:

All Windows and Doors are in satisfactory condition.

Truth: 15 Windows and 2 Doors leaking badly / clearly visible dark watermarks on the window sills everywhere.
(We had to replace all windows and doors to make the House livable!)

Roof leaking badly leaking (not mentioned in Report)

Ceilings in 3 rooms had watermarks (not mentioned in report)

House ceilings only half insulated (not mentioned in report)

Ducted Air Conditioner in Main Bedroom not connected. (not mentioned in report)

Damage Bill to repair approx $ 35 000

This was truly not a professional Property Inspection!

Worst experience in our life!

Used this company based on their reviews and was not disappointed. Chris was extremely thorough in the building and pest inspection, he showed and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. As well as advocating for me to my agent who was present by re-explaining issues found and ensuring awareness & understanding was shared amongst everyone. Could not be more thankful for choosing this company and getting Chris as my inspector. He was fantastic at his job, and friendly which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. As well as the added bonus when speaking with the admin staff who were also friendly, helpful and knowledgeable during pre and post inspection. Absolute pleasure all round to deal with! ᵕ̈

I called Homemasters Building and Pest Inspections to have a look at an investment property for me. I contacted them on Monday afternoon. The house was inspected the following day with the report emailed through by the end of the same day. Very thorough inspection, simple and easy communication. I would use them again without hesitation.

Home masters are very prompt in answering or returning calls. They responded in providing a quote quickly.
They were very quick in arranging the inspection on the same day which was very helpful because the property was going on auction a day after. The report was available the next day and was thorough. The follow up call to discuss about the report had really made the difference and given clarity and confidence in moving forward with the property.

Patrick and Chris have been brilliant, helped us dodge one serious bullet, and gave us a great inspection report on the property we ended up buying, which is so good for peace of mind, as well as longer term planning. Very pleased.

Chris was wonderful at providing information around a pest problem I have. He made himself readily available to help out and continued doing so far beyond what was expected. He was highly informative and helped me make the decision that was the best solution for me.

Very professional & comprehensive inspection, highlighted issues we hadn't expected & probably saved us considerable effort & money. A pleasure to deal with & have detailed explanations to back up the detailed report.

I have used HomeMasters many times now. Every time the service has been fantastic. I have recommended Chris to more people than I can remember. Highly recommended HomeMasters.

Detailed, professional and prompt. Patrick was very experienced in his field. His understanding and knowledge made it easy to inform others about the process of inspection and outcomes of findings. His reports are clear, accurate and easy to absorb, as he is able to fully explain complex details in an easy to understand format. Patrick and his team were sensitive to our team constraints and acted with precision to meet our needs. A great company with friendly, professional people.

They do a comprehensive report, but mine seemed to focus on trivial issues that would never sway my decision to buy. They make a lot of claims about answering questions, but I am still waiting for answers to emails about the solar panels. How can a building inspector completely miss a solar panel system? Not a single mention. They actually appear in a photo of the roof. I would have liked a description of the system with the capacity, condition and approximate age.
Lots of info about water and leaves in gutters though!
And while we are at it I must say I have never seen a building inspection report that didn't find moisture in the wall behind the shower. Since tiles, grout, plaster, gyprock and bricks are all porous finding moisture shouldn't be very surprising, especially in a building that's decades old.
Anyway, if you need a report on important issues in a house you are considering purchasing I would recommend a company that inspects everything and focuses on potential problems that you can't fix yourself after a quick trip to Bunnings, and features that relate to utility costs.

This is our second time using HomeMasters, Pat did a thorough report. Can’t recommend them highly enough

Unfortunately we have had a horrible smell coming from above the ceiling in our lounge room, for a week or so. Chris from Homemasters arrived after having SMS'd us with his eta. He quickly ruled out the possibility of possums being in our roof space.
We do see possums regularly. Once on the job he perservered despite a difficult scenario of sizealation (I think it's called) in the roof space. Chris found a deceased rat above our lounge, the stench from such a relatively small creature was a real problem to us.
Chris made more helpful recommendations which we will seriously consider. He has a great personality and work ethic, we are very happy with Homemasters Morphett Vale, and definitely recommend them.

Chris helped us with building and pest inspection for our second property and returned a comprehensive report. Chris is very professional and patient with customers. We received many constructive feedback from him, much appreciated. Highly recommend HomeMasters to home seekers!

Everyone in HomeMasters Building and Pest Inspections is very friendly and helpful. I have done an inspection on a property which looked perfect; HOWEVER, it was awful; thanks for Chriss to show all the major and minor issues. Chris is very professional and helpful. He explained to me everything clearly of every section in the property that you cannot tell and see the issue by your myself. Charmaine in reception is very friendly and very easy to deal with. I think they are one of few companies if only one that they ask the customer to attend at the end of the inspection to show and explain everything. On top of that a full comprehensive report with very thorough details will be provided. Highly recommended.
