Hoi An Inn reviews
49The food was amazing. Small restaurant but warm atmosphere. The best Vietnamese food in town for me.
Lady at the counter was extremely rude to my family. The way you treat your customers has given you so many bad reviews and I can understand why now that I have come to your restaurant. Honestly, if you were just nicer to my family then maybe this could have been a 5 star review. Be better, lady at the counter, be better.
Our experience at this restaurant was none other than unpleasant. We went to order and we were told we had to order one main each person and when stating the fact that my little brother wasn’t hungry she gave us some bad attitude and the owner responded with the item we were ordering was out of stock although grilled chicken is in almost every item and clearly wasn’t sold out. I haven’t tried their food but I definitely won’t be returning due to the customer service.
Won't be coming back. Rude and slow service. My mum asked what some dishes were because she didn't know, and all she did was point back at the menu. My mum asked her what they were because she looked at the menu what do you want her to do when she doesn't know what the dish is? There were no customers except for 3 people so wouldn't it be better if you have good service? Water was also too warm.
Deceptive appearance.small, a bit gloomy but the food was delicious and nutritious, fresh, bountiful and tasty. I will definitely go back there again.
First time leave a bad review. Extremely horrible and rude service. We have two adults and two kids. We ordered two pho to be shared among the four of us. When we asked for water, the waitress brought out only 2 glasses. When we asked for more glasses for water, she coldly replied “you only order two meal. Can only provide you two glasses. ” I’ll never visit this place again!
To reply: if you want people go in your shop and every head have to order a meal, you can put on your website or menu or outside on the little board you have. People can order whatever meal they want, you can’t treat your customer rude, just because their order is not to your expectation. When we were there the shop is not even half full.
Fresh and authentic the BBQ Quail (order by phone 1/2 hour in advance) was amazing the salad with the chicken was brilliant as were the prawn netted spring rolls and the dipping sauce a lovely little run restaurant with you and I as a customer in mind a fantastic menu
5 From me!
We love this restaurant, it’s delicious food, quick, good value for money and the staff are friendly
Popped in with husband for a quick Bahn mi after our hike. Cute small place and clean but it took forever and I thought the roll was very average. No chilli and little taste compared to what I normally have.
Small, family run restaurant. I enjoyed a salad (see picture). It was fresh and tasty. Very affordable. Service was very slow, it took 40 minutes for the dish to arrive.
Everything I’ve eaten here has been sensational. Such a lovely surprise as it’s just around the corner from my house: D The vegan pho too is good.: D: D: D
As a Melburnian who had her pick of Vietnamese this place is up there with the best of them - the Pho is incredible. So good when you have a cold.
I just adore this place. It is a home away from home and I feel like im eating at my own dinner table every time i dine here…. Which is a lot.
Alice is a wonderful host and greets us with a beaming smile every time we come here.
The food is is fabulous and my absolute favourite is the vegan pho. The bahn mi’s are always delicious and the noodle salads are second to no other Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide.
An absolute oasis of deliciousness right on our door step.
I went to have a meal with my family, and I was shocked to find hairs in my son's rice. I got a replacement, but it still had HAIR in it. I asked for a full refund, which they didn't provide. Even so, they still dared to put a food safety certificate on their wall. This is not just about the taste, but the entire cleanliness of their food. I would recommend everyone to check your food thoroughly if you are eating here, if even at all.
Sat in for lunch on a Sunday. Casual restaurant with nice but simple decor. We ordered a combo pho and combo banh mi. Both excellent! Also got a drip iced coffee each which was great. Good spot!
Worst customer service ever. Don't recommend. The lady behind the counter needs a lesson in customer service.
Lovely fresh food and friendly service. I love the vegan Pho, my teenagers love the noodle salad, banh mi or fried rice. The restaurant is cosy and relaxed. I'm so lucky to have this as my local - my friends come across town for the Pho and to be welcomed by Alice!
Ordered 2 take away Vietnamese salads on the way home.
The pork (the small amount that there was) was fatty and tasteless. The dressing should be BURSTING with flavour it was watery and tasteless! In all seriousness it's by far the worst Vietnamese I've ever had. If you can't get a Vietnamese salad right then you're doing your national cuisine a disservice. Save your money and avoid.
Ok place for lunch. Had a good meal there. Size of the Pho dishes is good value and the Special Fried rice good too. Clean and tidy restaurant with nice staff and food comes out quickly. Banh Mi rolls are only takeaway though. Ample parking across the street.
Amazing pho, great service, great atmosphere, very well priced. Go to pho place, couldn't recommend more highly
