Ordered Kikuyu in the afternoon (through butrose), the next day bright and early had the pallets dropped to my door. Outstanding service and help. Extremely happy with the condition of the lawn upon delivery, will be using hicks in the future.

Very helpful staff who answered all my questions prior to ordering. Goods delivered to Adelaide transport company in the am and I received the turf at Warooka late that same afternoon and I am about 3 hours away. Very happy with the product and the lawn looks great.

If I could give zero stars I would. Under no circumstances should you buy your lawn from this company, they are a rip off, they delivered this lawn on Friday afternoon, it was not a hot day, it was laid at 6am Saturday morning and more than half of it was dead. They refused blankly to do anything about it. I ordered 160sqm, 20 sqm was totally unusable, absolutely dead and this is the rest. Everybody says that shouldn't have happened, must have been sitting on the pallet for days, but they still refuse to replace even 1sqm of my lawn.

This is the first time I’ve used Hicks Turf. They were the grass supplier at our local landscape yard. I chose Sir Wally Premium Buffalo Instant Turf. The grass arrived on time and the delivery guy was great, even offered tips and tricks to lay the new lawn. When you purchase premium turf it’s disappointing to find winter grass throughout a lot of the slabs of turf ; luckily I had over ordered and used the best ones first. A few weeks on and more and more winter grass is popping up. I would strongly advise considering other suppliers and even asking the question that is the turf going to be free of weed!

Absolutely terrible product and customer service. We received our lawn a few weeks ago and it was practically dead when it arrived. We laid it the same day as instructed and I've never seen lawn look so bad. Especially when paying a premium, we expected a lot better. Have followed up with the company and has gotten us nowhere. They will not accept any fault and are trying to blame us. We have spent a fortune on water trying to bring it back but some parts are beyond recovery and are totally dead. Seems to be a pattern with poor products and poor follow up from reading other reviews below. Be warned - I would not use them again unfortunately - have wasted a lot of money.

Very disappointed. We prepared the ground as per instructions from Hicks with new soil and the starter kit they gave us.
We were told that the lawn would be about 70% green which it was. I found it odd that there was no soil attached to the lawn but accepted it anyway.
We layed the 35 m2 of lawn, rolled, fertilised, light top dress and watered. From day 1 the lawn began to go yellow and then die off no matter what we tried.
Contacted Hicks to see if it was something we were doing wrong and the staff basically did not want to know about it. Their only comment was that we should water in the morning and not evening. That does not kill a lawn. We now need to replace the entire area and it will not be with lawn from this mob.

First time using Hicks. Ordered 24 hours prior and delivered on our driveway when they promised. The customer service was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I’d also like to mention the delivery truck driver today. He was a legend and an asset to your business!

We always have the greenest grass on the street. I wouldn't go anywhere else, support a local, family owned business.

Good products massively let down by poor service. We are 20 mins from this location and three times we've driven here during advertised opening hours only to find the gates locked.
After it happened once we rang ahead to check the next time and were assured they were still open for over an hour. We arrived 20 mins later and the gate was locked. Staff were still on site but refused to open up and serve us despite the sign on the gate showing they should still be open.
Not sure why we keep trying.
