Hazelwood Park Playground reviews
12Once a saw a skechy dude handling coke and he offred my baby brother some. I took it form him and ran.
Good variety of play equipment. Lots of shade for the walking trails. Creek complete dry in summer.
As a playground it's ticking all the boxes, buuuut, the weird ladies just sitting and watching your everymove and following you to the toilets is very scary movie.
Good selection for the kids had a chat to two young metal detectorist who were looking for treasure but at the same time clean all the rubbish up.way to go guys!
Great place to go for a walk and entertain your kids as it has a great playground, have a picnic, even go for a swim as Burnside pool is here also.
Very beautiful park. Lot of variety for kids to play with. Good place for family outing, birthday parties, Christmas parties etc. During summer you can also use the swimming pool (at a cost). Toilets available, also a small lake kind of thing for kids to have fun and watch some cute little ducks.
A great playground with something for all ages. The only downside is that the bathrooms are quite far away so makes access a bit tricky.
A great public playground with equipment including swings, slides, climbing equipment, spinners and flying fox.
Lots of shade, covered seats and tables. Barbeque facilities nearby. Short walk to public toilets.
Adjacent to lots of open grass for running around and ball sports. Plenty of convenient parking.
A good playground. Suitable for children to play, hold parties and BBQ. There are broad lawns and many huge trees. Public toilets need to go to the nearby George Bolton Swimming Centre or a piece of woods to the west. Many people walk dogs in the park. Lots of parking spaces.
A large park with a beautiful playground for kids. There are public bbq places, few guys, sitting places, large trees and a favourite place for kids to have birthday parties.
Big play areas and enough space for big picnic gatherings.
Enough parkings and play area have options for kids of all ages.
Cons:
Washrooms are very far, very few covered hut places, people often bring unleashed dogs to play area which could be hazardous for kids. Better be safe than sorry.
Lots of big trees due to which no sunlight.
Great space but what is with the dog owners who walk their mutts off the lead. We had set up a site with blanket and chairs and this dog just bounced in and started knocking our stuff over and snatched a chicken shaslic from my 6 year olds hand. Not even a sideways glance from the owner. No sorry. Almost it was expected.
Maybe the best suburban playground in Adelaide. Highlights are a decent slippery dip from a man made "mountain" (2 actually, but one is small), 2 flying foxes, swings (including one for wheelchair users) etc
The surroundings are a delight, lots of lawn and gum trees. (Like hectares).
Good for all ages, plenty of parking, plenty of shade.
