Hazelwood Clinic

I have been attending this clinic since I was born, all 36 (soon to be) years of my life. I have always and I mean always, received the utmost in exemplary care and compassion from all the doctors at the practice. The office staff are amazingly friendly and are a very welcoming face every time you visit. Highly recommended if you need to see a doctor. The first time I have ever, and the only time I probably will ever, give a 10/10.

I would like to thank Dr Cawley for her outstanding dedication to her patients. I have had wonderful service from her and she is so thorough and has her patients health as her first priority while attending the Clinic.

I would not recommend this clinic. I received very poor customer service from Dr S Martin. A lack of compassion and professionalism was shown.

You pay privately but you still don't get seen to on time. I was 15min early, waited half an hour after my appointment time and then left without being consulted. Absolute waste of time.

A very bad experience. Dr S Martin was rude and obstructive. I would not recommend this practice. The receptionist was lovely though and thats why they get 1 star

Been going here for years and the staff are excellent. Dr Gilmore has looked after my parents for so long and always goes out of his way to help them

I have been coming to this Clinic for 46 years. During this time I have been mainly a patient of Dr. G. Martin and in later years his wife Dr. S. Martin.
I have since moved from the area but will continue to see my doctor as long as I can. There is nothing better than having your history with your doctor as well as mutual understanding and respect.
Dr. Elton is also a favourite of mine.
Christine and staff at Reception are lovely, warm girls who are quick to have a short chat if time provides.
I'm very happy with my Clinic.

If you need a GP for anything important, or more complex than a sniffle, here would be a mistake. Thanks to their inability to diagnose and treat me correctly over a period of months, I now have a permanent, and crippling pain disorder. One that I've been told repeatedly by far superior doctors from my team that regularly treat me at The Murray Clinic, and St Andrews Hospital, could have been avoided if only I was treated correctly in the first place. Avoid Dr. Rebecca Jeanes like the plague. (The main senior GP, also displayed some pretty disgusting homophobia.)

All the staff are highly professional with that extra warm and friendly nature. They have supported all my family for many years. There is always an appointment available for my children or anything urgent. I've seen all the doctors over the years. If you're looking for an excellent GP service you can't go past the Hazelwood clinic.

This has to be one of the best medical practices I have had the need to use by far. It might not have state of the art facilities but it does have quality GP's and very experienced nurses on hand. I started going to this practice after a friend referred me back in 2006 as I lived in close proximity however I now live in Golden Grove and I still prefer to travel all the way to this practice because really good Doctors need to be appreciated. The girls on the front desk are always very helpful and try their very best to get you in if it's really urgent but they can only do so much. I think some times negative reviews come about simply because somebody either couldn't get their own way or was made to wait too long. (Dr may refuse to prescribe unnecessary use of antibiotics or narcotics &/or the wait is sometimes longer than usual because guess what? Sometimes people are given bad news and this is often hard to "plan" ahead of time)

All the Doctors there have very different personalities. Don't like the one you just saw? Try another, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

My wife attended the Clinic on Thursday 27th April and was seen by Dr Paul Pers. Her experience with this doctor was the worst she'd had in the 34 years we've attended this practice. His manner was dismissive, curt and less than sympathetic. We would definitely not recommend this doctor. This experience does not extend to all other staff and doctors however.

Several of the doctors here are outstanding. They have always treated me with respect with regards to my sexuality and mental illness. They take time to ask me how everything is going beyond my short term diagnosis. It is a very busy clinic so you need to call first thing in the morning to get an appointment and may have to wait a few days to see your favourite doctor. I have been going here for over 30years. The front desk staff are very friendly as well.
