We had 1/2 tonne redgum delivered. When it was delivered we were not home but noticed the small pile when we got home. I rang and complained as soon as we got home. They were reluctant in saying we were short delivered. So I weighted a big piece and counted the rest came out at 350 kgs. After a couple more phone calls I had to go and collect what was owed. I won't be back.

Appalling customer service! After spending several thousand there over the past year, when staff accidentally overloaded my trailer the owner came storming out with a tirade of abuse and profanity saying I was rude and it was my problem. I had to unload it myself by hand! There's much nicer staff at Hollards 500m away on Grange Rd (KFC on the corner).

Unpleasant experience- we entered the store and sought out an employee who was hard to find and asked to please use a toilet, who was happy to let us use it - we then left and were then followed by who I assume was the manager who followed us for over 10 blocks with no verbals into the local salvos store - she then stood in the shop door way staring at us near us until I approached and queried “is everything alright” to which she responded “I’m alright are you alright” and then I stated we just used her toilets as I felt like she was suspicious we had stolen items from the shop? She responded very bluntly “we’ll ask next time” which I let her know we did.

Very abrupt and unpleasant experience did not appreciate the manner we were treated as neatly dress young women.

I have tried other places in the area but keep coming back to these guys. Best prices, best service, best quality.

Hollards has the best service of all the firewood places in our area and always make sure the wood is split to a decent size and accessible.
