Hawker Caravan Park reviews
47 Excellent caravan park. Very clean and tidy.
Managers are most accommodating. Love coming to this area.
Very friendly couple working here. All facilities were very clean and the pool is great to cool off.
We enjoyed a quiet night here on an unpowered site, with the layout did need to unhook. Great bush setting with nice outlook to the Flinders Ranges. Beautiful town with a couple of great looking pubs. Agreed with another comment about being a preferred park as Parachilna and Leigh Creek didnt look as inviting for a stopover. Lots of groundswork being done here to make a nice experience for travellers. Appreciated, thank you!
Cabins are basic but clean. Great starting point into the Flinders for day drives. Unfortunately the pool was still cold in 30 degree weather. Would recommend for a few nights.
The staff was so helpful guiding us and allowing us that little extra time because of an car accident happened to us the previous night. I wasn't able to go around much but surely coming back again.
Staff was really helpful. We had a situation where our car met with an accident and was waiting for a tow service which delayed our checkout time for couple of hours. It was so kind of the staff, she offered us to get dropped in nearby transportation service to Adelaide and not charging us for couple of hours of extending our stay because of this accident.
Best service and friendly people.
Great vibe! Spacious! Just a generally chill place to stay. Would stay again 100%. Easy to book online. Playground and swimming pool. Communal fire. Did not get placed right next to another person which was nice to have some space. Loved it.
Although a bit dusty it is well situated for visiting the Flinders Ranges and Wilpena Pound. Friendly staff.
This place is great to explore the flinders ranges, clean bathrooms amazing staff loved our stay here.
Hawker town had an amazing gallery and the pub is old but good is great
Stayed 9 out of our 10 Travel Auction nights. Would have stayed all 10 but family commitments intervened: - (
Great hub for exploring the district. It was nice to come back to a well designed and well managed park. Great weather too!
Very friendly Wayne looks after the park he is most helpful and full of knowledge, the park has lovely shaded areas, with two camp kitchens one indoors, which has a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, 2 tables and chairs plus a wood fire and T. V.only ABC everything you need but very outdated but kept clean, toilets at both end of the park, showers and clothes line done one end, fire rings for camp fires, walking distance to town and pub.
Spent 5 nights at caravan park as part of a travel auction deal. Caravan park is not glitzy or glamorous but just how I like them, clean, friendly, tidy and welcoming! Plenty of level, easy to access sites and dated but clean facilities. During our stay, met the owner of the park who was covering for the managers and had a few drinks around a firepit with him and a couple of his mates who were helping out. He is in the process of making ongoing improvements. Look forward to coming back for the 2nd five day stint of the travel auction deal.
Considering the location the park was very clean with generous size powered sites with good quality water hookup. Yes we would definitely stay again.
The peothwre have been awesome and very helpful since our car broke down. Would come here again and recommend it to everyone
Quality accommodation, stayed in a cabin. Found it to be clean and very comfortable. Staff friendly, great location, would recommend.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The amenities are a bit dated but clean and the showers were always hot. Their site fees were reasonable for a long weekend unlike the price gouging that was evident 30 minutes north of Hawker, which we found to be a very friendly and welcoming town.
Great place to explore the Flinders Ranges. Good spacious sites, many drive though.
Amenities a little dated but clean.
Hawker CV parknis great. No deals just good and clean amenities. The Managers do a great job and it's nice and peaceful. John and Pam dona great job.
Nice spot for a base to visit the southern end of the Flinders Ranges but a shame they don’t have a drain for grey water, currently it runs to the neighbours side and when you get out of your van there is a puddle at your doorway. Biggest problem is the showers are made for pigmies, even the toilet cubicles are bigger than the showers
Overnight stay, choice of site- ours was in crushed rock and large size, amenities old but clean, great location to walk into town. Manager extremely helpful.
