Hatun Café reviews
18 This is my second visit to this little treasure.
The coffee is great, the food reminds me of my time in Europe. It’s a great homely family feel with warmth and charm. I paid $9 the other day for a basic egg sandwich elsewhere and the value for money and quality of the food here is remarkable for that tiny little more than a boring sandwich. My go to from now on every time I’m on the CBD. I just love it
This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely amazing food and great service! Came back everyday of our trip!
If you are looking for a place to have great food in a wonderful atmosphere this is the place you should go in Adelaide. I strongly suggest you to have the legendary Turkish breakfast, kisir, baklava, and tea. Not to mention they serve great coffee variants, and if you like strong and tasty coffee you should definitely try Turkish coffee which is served lokum.
Located in the heart of the CBD, this cozy cafe never disappoints. If you are in the city, pop in and give it a go, plus their deserts are divine. Hey, good things deserve acknowledgement
Great atmosphere and great coffee. Friendly staff and fast service, and not overly expensive. Definitely recommend!
Was in Adelaide for the Fringe, couldn’t help but noticed the Turkish name and thought I’ll have a Turkish coffee. You’ll be welcomed with the most genuine Turkish hospitality in this venue, really good coffee, food looked delicious as well, we’ll be back for food as well. 5 stars!
OMG! I stopped by to have lunch and was greeted by the lovely ladies as soon as I came in. A real Turkish hospitality:)
I went for a bowl which was so generous and filling. Even though I was quite hungry, I couldn’t manage to finish it off.
I also tried a pastry filled with aubergine which was divine and had some take-away cookies with tahini. They were so rich, so flavorful.
This cafe could be a good spot for vegetarians as well as they have got pretty good vegetarian varieties
Hope to come more … Yes - I did and tried almost everything on their menu ️Turkish breakfast is the brekkie for Champion’s
I love bagels and was intrigued by the Turkish bagel (simit). I ordered one with cheese and pastirma and it was a taste sensation. The ladies that run Hatun Cafe are lovely. I'm keen to try their other Turkish offerings such as gozleme, pastries and stuffed vegetables.
Really enjoyed the lunch option here, not too heavy, reasonably priced with a decent serve of meat. Had the bowl option on the menu, it was a little confusing working out what to order. Would stop in again to try the wrap.
Authentic Turkish food, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the city. Highly recommended.
Made sure to check the cafe out while in Adelaide. Exceptional and authentic Turkish food in a wonderful cafe, highly recommend you eat here!
Most people with Turkish parents would agree it is hard to compare Turkish dishes with your mothers. Let me tell you, this cafes menu Does. Not. Disappoint!
Amazing food, friendly staff, could not recommend it more.
Welcoming place with considerate people. I like the place and Gözleme I shared with my little one.
You can find the most amazing version of Turkish breakfast here. If you like traditional tastes, it's the best place to go.
Lovely place tucked in on James Place. Great atmosphere and beautiful food, really enjoyed it. Definitely will visit again!
Food absolutely incredible and the service was amazing will be back
Thank you
I feel good after eating your food. It's very healthy and filling!
There are unique desserts options from Turkiye as well as breakfast and lunch specials! I strongly recommend Tahini baklava which I am addicted to! So thanks so much Hatun’s team for bringing the most missing tastes from Turkey to Adelaide!
