The staff lie and decieve to get a sale on any product, Harvey Norman don't stand behind their over priced products if they fail and the absorbent "warranty " is completely worthless when a repair or replacement is needed, disgusting service! Management and staff should be ashamed of ripping off their customers every day! Just another multi million dollar company with no customer service, no repair service and no management with the intelligence to take the expected action when required!
For people thinking of buying from Harvey Norman-don't waste your money! Go elsewhere!
Scammers: They say they're offering 6 or 12 months interest free.but they charge $9.95 a month in fees.
So if i was to buy a theragun pro for $899 i'd be paying $119.40 in interest disguised as fees. The lower the cost of the product the more the interest customers have to pay. Basically robbing the poor by claiming interest in hidden fees. Give me 10 minutes of my life back for looking into your false advertising please.

I purchased many items from there, but this time when I purchase a $550 Sony headphone, it randomly power off, it happens after I purchase it the second day, because I was oversea for couple weeks, they refused to exchange a new one, even though I provide support documentation.
I’m so disappointed and unsatisfied with them, no wonder why Harvey got more bad reviews than JB Hi-Fi.

Went here today to buy a 65 inch tv that the Web sites says they have in store, green tick on the web page, it was not in store, it was locate out of store, then spoke to staff about other tvs that they told me they have in store. After speaking with staff I learned that they have no items in store over 43 Inch. Wasted my time going there, you guys need to learn that in store means you have them in store, not located somewhere else.
Products are fine but the guy who served me was barely polite, however the girl at the cash register was really friendly and approachable.
We had an amazing experience in this store with Isaac, Ramman and one other person we don‘t know the name. We are travelers and were looking for a mobile data plan with Optus. Unfortunately the system had some problems while setting up the account but these three people did everything they could and even after closing hours they didn‘t finish their work until everything was solved.
This was an amazing experience for us on our first day in Australia! Thank you so much!
Computer section has no detailed specs listed on monitors. Price and model name only. Standing there for 10 minutes looking it up on the internet. Too hard basket.

Whether it was in person or on the phone, was passed around until someone could be bothered to answer my questions about purchasing the item I wanted. Then was told to go online to buy when the person on the phone said to come in to do a “price-match” item for a click and collect but barely gave me enough information which was lacking as it was evident as I had to call other stores which was more prepared. Furthermore, even if they have the item but the price matching was a whole lot cheaper, they can refuse to do it because there’s “too much difference in pricing”. All in all, need better staff with at least a decent knowledge for items in store, update the online page faster because they all said the stores had stock when they do not, and improve on their communication training instead of passing customers around like a football.
I phoned ahead and asked them to put a scanner aside. It was at the check out waiting for me, all I had to do was pay.
The manger Ben is unprofessional not helpful at all. No more dealing with Harvey Norman at City Cross.
I’ve never seen such a comprehensive collection of incompetent people. The products are the same as any other store however it’s the customer service that truly makes this store stand out. Don’t go into the store and waste your time like I have.

Poor service all round, They took over a month to get a product to me that was meant to be in a few days. Never got a courtesy call and was given the run around with where the item was meant to have come from turns out they lied in the beginning to get a sale knowing they would have to order it down the company directly.
They made promises they didn't keep after it arrived. Gift card was given but I won't be spending it at this store I won't ever go back.
Very bad experience, I just want buy something and very quick to choice then, I thought I can just go to pay for it then go. But terribly the sells man was hold us, and try to sell us mobile phone plane, in the end we didn’t get any good price offer, it was cheating and west our time. Before it was not like this. We bought fridge TV too many items in there. But no more Next time to purchasing anything there again.
The staff were busy, but help full, was shown where to pick up the new leads to connect my DVD to my Huge Panasonic TV, oldie but a goody, also a memory card to download my Photos on my phone?
