Harry's Bar reviews
67Cheap, good vibes, great balcony. Can get a veggie burger and beer for $13 so that's great. Not Jamie Oliver quality, but more mid range pub food. Daily options for meat eaters also. It's all about the balcony really, and the 100 year old heritage decor inside. A real bit of nostalgia
Great balcony, decent selection of drinks and prices, might get unlucky and be attended by young entitled millennial ladies, but get your drink fast and enjoy the atmosphere.
Upstairs in the old tattersalls club. Wood paneling old world. Balcony overlooking Grenfell Street. Food is good pub food, staff great and plenty of specials. Thursday happy hour ALL drinks $5 3-7pm. Well worth checking out.
Good traditional pub atmosphere, though sometimes it's difficult to know the entry for the bar is next door to pokies bar
Best Parma in Adelaide! I’m from Melbourne and found it hard to find somewhere to go after the footy and this place done an amazing feed
My sister and I found it fascinating. A piece of Adelaide history that is well maintained and a hidden gem for dining or drinks.
On a cold and windy day in Adelaide and raining as well, it was great to have found this little bar for lunch. Service was good, staff were excellent and would recommend the establishment to anyone visiting Adelaide. I'll be back!
I always forget about this bar but recently found it again when a friend invited me there to meet him for drinks.
The staff are friendly, the patrons are decent, and the tap beer is chilled to perfection To top off a more than great night at Harry's Bar, the restroom was extremely clean for each visit.
Definitely a bar to recommend.
Thanks Harry.
Friday lunch. Very busy. Lovely old style decor. Food was rubbish, cheap, bland pub grub. Would go back for a drink but wouldn't recommend eating here.
Love love love Harrys bar.the food is amazing
Great deals on food and drinks all through the week
Really friendly staff
We have been in Adelaide 3 days and have been in Harrys 5 times for food, drinks and the gaming room downstairs
Advertised lunchtime schnitty for $10 plus cost of drink. Didnt mention needed to add on $ for toppings. 45 min wait for our groups schnitties to come out, and we needed to ask twice as others served after us ate & left, and then 2 of eight were wrong.
Food was ok for price, but not worth the wait.
Although its usually a good place with excellent wait staff.however, the staff in pic was extremely rude when i asked him 2 mins after happy hour if I can still get a drink for happy hour prices. Not to mention i waited for him to attend to me for last 5 mins as he was busy cleaning the glasses and didnt notice me waiting. Miss the other guy who is usually here on Thursday nights. Much friendlier!
This is a little gem. Can't say I was over enthused with the menu, but it is a beautiful old bar.
A favourite of mine for a quick after work catch up with friends also ideal for an early meal with a special available add happy hour to the mix with lovely staff as well.
Okay for a quick after work drink. This is a classic choice for a lot of the oldies in town who just like to go somewhere familiar. But given all the choices we have in Adelaide this place definitely wouldn't be my first preference. Dated interiors and uncomfortable seating. Very small outdoor area. The food isn't great either to put it mildly. I don't usually expect much from a regular old pub but there are many in Adelaide that would easily out do this one by miles.
Great service! A young man by the name of James made sure me and my friends never had an empty glass. Great young lad
Great place to grab a value for money meal. When in the city a great place to enjoy lunch. Is a popular place and has a lovely outdoor balcony. Glad I found it.
Harry's Bar is one of Adelaide's hidden treasures. I went there for the first time two months ago and I have been a regular ever since. Please go in and have a look - I promise that you will be impressed.
Good food and reasonably priced drinks in relaxed historic splendour.
Lots of specials throughout the week.
Well worth the visit.
If you want a warm, comfortable, colonial feel to your evening, Harry's is for you. The staff are friendly and hospitable and the furnishings and ambience contribute to a relaxed, chill time with your friends or colleagues. I haven't seen a wheelchair accessible entry, so do keep that in mind if you are in need of something like that. There is a lift though to get you to the first floor where the bar is.
The food and beverage selection is priced excellently and is delicious.
