Harold and Cynthia Anderson Reserve reviews
34Nice, clean. Great playground. Good to see on the Education boards how the environment, the dunes are recovered.
Amazing end of the west beach. There's plenty of parking and some outdoor play equipment for the kids towards the left of the carpark. Walking down towards the sea you come to a wide open expanse of sandy beach ideal for a picnic. Plus there's usually a Greek food truck and an amazingly good ice cream truck during business hours just on the carpark.
I'm from Ceduna and used to beaches on every corner, this one was just as great but in a different way.
The sand is so clear, you could actually go deep enough into the water to swim without reaching seaweed or being a scary distance away from shore. Wouldn't recommend looking for shells/rocks here, I only saw about 1 of each.
The waves weren't too big but they slammed you in the shallow a bit (21km wind day for reference).
Nice place with all the amenities you need on the beach.
The beach is in the middle of famous Henley and Glenelg beaches.
I prefer to go to this beach as the other two beaches are crowded.
What a waste of tax payers money. Was this meant to be an 'upgrade'? We had a perfectly fun, shaded, varied playground before, now it's a walking platform for a view, you could just get by standing on the footpath. The new slide is too short and no new playground equipment has been provided. How much did this cost?
Nice place for kids to have fun and close enough to the beach, it all have the playground equipment like flying fox, a platform with binoculars.
It's a nice park for children to play by the beach side. Also has a walking track for dog walkers, pram walkers n others too.
A lovely lawn area with a playground for the children. There's a path along the foreshore which great for walking, running, cycling, etc.
Can be quite busy early-mid morning on weekends due to park-run and other events. Is next to and shares the same carpark as West Beach Sailing Club.
Stunning white sand beach that appears to go on forever. My visit was a refreshing dip in the calm waves of the ocean, and a smile to see others having fun in the sun.
Again, another loo with no toilet paper next to the playground.or should I say 2 loose with no paper! The playground was wicked with a flying fox which my kid loved but after lactose intolerant child got caught twice in a week taking a dump in a public toes only to find no loo paper.it has come apparent Mum needs to take a toilet roll into public toilets adjacent to playgrounds in Adelaide!
Great place to pause while on a bicycle ride North or South along the coast. There is also lots of parking and easy access to the beach. A coffee shop is under the sailing club.
Nice views and its a place where we come to eat our fish n chips from Stunned Mullet. Best fishnchips.
We were only walking through it but did get to watch two mothers with a child each utilising the facilities. All four were having a ball of a time and it was great to watch.
We did appreciate the tree shade and the access paths to the beach. I would recommend coming to this park any day.
Great place for families meetings car clubs meetings picnics walks relaxation ocean views coffee outtings.
Love love this place amazing quiet as well and scooters galore its a great place for a day out, mini date or even just to chill and relax take a walk
Great to be near the sea, the smells and sights. Path nice and wide and opportunity for range of exercise
Stellar park with lots of shade and lots of sun, plenty of spots to sit and picnic in the nice sea air.and there is a flying fox, that’s all that matters
Clean, spacious, with easy access to the beach. The disadvantage is that it lacks any places where you can buy food, and there are no any changing rooms.
A very clean place with lots of friendly faces and happy dogs wandering around. Fresh water available for both
