9/9/2021. For our 20th wedding anniversary to be stuck at what felt like the worse table next to the drinks station was utterly disappointing. Interrupted every 5 minutes by the waiters pouring drinks right behind us was unnerving. We almost left but luckily the food was amazing so would recommend but ensure when booking to get valley views.

I am happy when going there with families. Good service and food tastes nice for everyone.
Price is very good and not expensive.

I had the seven course degustation menu. The flavours were elegant and sophisticated, each course offered its own unique experience yet complimented each other in both their novelty and pallete.

The servers read the table incredibly well, and were very warm. We went for recommended wines over the pairing and enjoyed some incredible red wines with our meal.

If you are looking for any kind of special evening you will not be disappointed. There are also in house rooms to stay and a bar with some generous and delicious cocktails.

Absolutely will be coming here again!

From awe inspiring start as you walk through the "Gatsby Residence of South Australia" to the heart breaking departure from the table, this is an experience well worth traveling for. (From Brisbane in our case). The setting is stunning; overlooking the valley lights below shrouded in night. The service is impeccable; wait staff ready before you knew you needed them and a sommelier whos wine pairing managed to elevate heavenly food even higher. And the food; a culinary extravaganza of sight, smell, taste ant texture. No sense is left behind as complex flavours dance across your pallette and blend together in a perfect tango for your senses. If you get the chance, definitely spend an evening here.

The counter staff avoided eye contact with customers from the entry till out. I felt so unfriendly and unwelcoming from the start. The waiter was good and food was okay. But overall, we didn’t feel like fine-dinning experience at here. Very disappointed

We had the most amazing dinner last night. My husband I had the 7 course dinner and every dish was perfect. Being vegetarian I was excited to see they had delicious options on the menu. Our cocktails were fantastic and the service was the best we've had. The wine guy (Elliot I believe) was so knowledgeable and friendly. My husband enjoyed some of the best wines and left the decisions up to Elliot. We can't wait to return.

7 course degustation with matching wines. Exceptional next level depth of flavours. Atmosphere and views of the valley from the balcony make for a romantic experience.

Great steak but a tad underdone. Salad was "just green leaves" so a bit disappointing. Would have like more variety of vegetables.
Dessert on small side for a more casual dining venue. But steak and potatoes tasted awesome!

Beautiful views, mouth-watering food, and the finest service you will ever experience. A warm and inviting atmosphere awaits inside a magnificent heritage building, but be sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Your tastebuds will be tantalised with a menu that can only be described as a gastronomical delight, the head chef has truely created a masterpiece. The drinks menu has the finest wines to choose from, or you can request to have the recommended wine to accompany each individual course. If you’re not a wine drinker you won’t be disappointed by the vast selection of unique and traditional cocktails made by the restaurant’s mixologist, each drink is beautifully presented. An elegant dining experience awaits you, only 15 minutes outside of the city.

Qality taste experience with the correct proportion of food accompanied by a fine selection of top local wines. The fresh vegetables and salads were reminiscent of home grown food. Very very satisfied and just a nice fill. I am feeling much healthier after eating so well. Thankyou staff for your attention to detail and organized manner. Reception also provided a complimentary bottle of water each to see us home to Sommerton Park. We will be returning soon. Sold on you all.

Hardy's reputation precedes itself and for good reason. I arranged a booking for a party of twelve on a Sunday night, including some restrictive dietary requirements. Not only did they accommodate us, they created an additional menu (including a new ice cream!) Furthermore, despite it being his night off, Chef Jin Choi came out to the restaurant to greet us after hearing that we decided to come to Hardy's as a result of his performance on master chef. It was truly a beautiful evening with outstanding food artistry! Definitely worth going for a special celebration,

The foods were amazing. We had a course meals and each foods were just a wow factor. Delicious foods. Need to book early as it can get quiet full. Full complement to staffs and chefs!

Food was amazing but tiny sizes. Had to do a take away run on the way home from our degustation.

Fabulous meal in a divine setting! I enjoyed the degustation menu and would classify it as one of my top 10 best meals. The flavours were on point, the presentation exquisite, and the service attentive without being obsequious. The coconut dessert was a particular highlight. Book ahead to get one of the window tables.

Had lunch in the lounge bar and we were really impressed with the service and food. Of course the views were also outstanding. Shared the charcuterie platter and even though a bit pricey at $45 the cured meats were fresh and of high quality, the homemade chicken liver was delicious and pleased to see that the sourdough was sliced nice and thinly and chargrilled perfectly. This was all washed down with a beautiful bottle of Henschke 2018 SB which also a bit pricey at $65. Overall, we did not mind paying for such perfection and have no hesitation in encouraging friends to visit this wonderful place.

Very nice. Scenary is even better. Very enjoyable experience. We had lunch today 3 course for horses. Brilliant. Service was superb. Food was excellent. Friendly staff

I was rather disappointed with the degustation experience this evening. Though the service was ok, the food was very average and there was no “wow” factor. There was neither a palate cleanser nor petit four served. We were also not offered any coffee or tea towards the end of the evening. My experience today definitely did not match the expectations of a fine dining quality and would certainly need some improvement.

I was disappointed with the service. I booked a lunch for mum’s 75th birthday for 12 people which included 4 children (ages 10-15). I discussed menu including children’s options at length and booked lunch. I received a call few days later to tell me they didn’t allow children in the restaurant and a suggestion we change to the bar! I had several back and forth discussions and settled on a ‘private room’. We had no view and on the day service was inattentive. I wish we went elsewhere.

I was so disappointed with my evening. We were so excited to attend. The entrees took over an hour to come out, and we received no communication about it- only until I asked after an hour.
When our mains came out, we were supposed to receive complimentary sides which took and additional 15mins- by that time our food was cold.
The food was incredible, I will not deny that. However I will not be paying top dollar for service like this again.
