Happy Corner Chinese Restaurant

We had a beautiful dinner. The food was very fresh and staff were lovely. The food was well presented.

This is my first time to have dinner with my friends here, we tried their special, Kingfish Head Soup, Peking Duck and mix dry pot which were so yum, brings my memories in China. I’ll definitely come back!

Food is very good. The amount is right, and the spicy food is really delicious. The service in the restaurant is also great. I will definitely come again next time.

My family came to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, many ranges of food to order and it was very delicious. We had a wonderful dinner at Happy Corner. I highly recommend this restaurant for dine-ins.

I had egg fried rice with spicy pork dish, very tasty, 100% satisfying, good service, clean place, I will definitely come back again, open till 9.30 on Sunday too

Recommended by a friend, this is the first time I came to this restaurant. It has a special decoration style, a clean and tidy dining environment, friendly food service, the staff they all very nice. The food was prepared quickly and delicious, will recommend to other friends as well.

Been coming here for years every time this place has been a reliable, welcoming place with great food. Can’t recommend coming here for affordable yet extravagant food and atmosphere. Will be coming back such nice staff as well!:)

A lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Love the plum sauce for the duck. The long bean dish was my favorite, crunchy and fresh. Wish I could cook it at home? Takeaway for my daughter's lunch today. She would be envied today as she always envies those kids who bring fried rice and nuggets for lunch. Would definitely come back?

Visit Happy Corner for the first time, the staff is very friendly &helpful. We ordered duck, fried noodles and sizzling beef. Food taste good, will come again.

This restaurant has such great reviews I had to give it a go. However my review is not so glowing. We ordered 2 entrees and 4 mains. We were told it would take 20min so the wife and I went for a walk in the neighbourhood. Came back and had to wait another 15min. So not off to a great start. We were given a soft drink bottle and a bag of prawn crackers as compensation which was nice because I didn't ask for anything. On the drive home I started hopping into the crackers but they were certainly not fresh to the point were I would not eat them but no biggie as they were freebies. It was the no. 1 sons 16th birthday and he had ordered honey chicken because that is the only Chinese food he will eat so certainly no connoisseur but said it was only okay. The 2 entrees - prawn cutlets were the 'out of a bag' deep fried flat rubbish you get in a pub. My fault as they are not really Chinese. The fried dumplings were the best out of all the dishes but no better than you would buy from Aldi. There was salt and black pepper squid on a blackboard in front of the counter and I thought it would be a winner. But it was overly battered to the point where I was wondering if there was squid in the middle. Not what I'm used to - I expected a light flouring with some seasoning. Plus they were so salty you needed a glass of water after each piece. I ordered a spicy sliced beef dish but I got the impression it had been ordered a couple of days earlier and was not picked up. The noodles in the bottom of the pack were well on the way back to being liquid - you could not actually pick them up without falling apart and the sprouts were very soft. My wife's Mongolian lamb was probably the best out of all the dishes. So for $112 I was pretty disappointed. I will probably not give it a second chance.

Excellent friendly service and great Aussie-style Chinese food, the traditional stuff we grew up with.

Thank you Emily and Shan, we recently had a celebration at Happy Corner Restaurant and it was a great night. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

Food was wonderful. Mapo tofu and omelette were the best dishes we’ve had! The staff were very kind and polite. They gave us prawn chips too! 10/10 would recommend:)
