It’s a 5 star for Dr. Ken Meh but you guys really need to change your reception staff, because she really rude and haves a really poor attitude, not with only me but with everyone coming there.

Decent GP clinic, good GPs, Better than average from that point of view. One major negative is one of the receptionists, a dark haired woman who handles the payments. She really needs a huge attitude adjustment and should seriously consider a new career in which she doesn't have to deal with customers.

Thank you Helen for the wonderful assistance and help you've given me over the years at Hanson Rd medical centre. Your phone manner is just so lovely and it makes one feel at ease when chatting! Both you and Dr John's are just fabulous! Thank you again. Matt H

Consistently outstanding, genuinely the best doctors I’ve ever spoken to. The other reviews are utterly shocking considering all of mine and my families experiences. I recommend Dr David Tri-Dang Nguyen and Dr Sue Man!

The worst medical center I've dealt with
Spoke to the receptionist twice about a pre employment medical
got told two different things from the same person, then she didn't even book it as a pre employment medical, when the staff member arrived asked for a form to tell them what they needed to do
They advertise pre employment medicals, the receptionist had no idea

I think even one star is too much for this medical centre. Please dont waste your time to visit this! Find a place where doctor are actually a doctor and they knew the value of time.

Even one star is waste for this hospital. After telling your medical condition doctor will ask so what I can do. If he asks us what he need to do what is the purpose. The prices are high they mentioned direct billing for OSHC but after consulting they told they dont. Asked me to pay 78 dollars for consulting with no use.

When I need to see a doctor i always see Dr Johns. Even if he is running behind he never rushes you through your appointment. He is very attentive, thorough and always kind. I would definitely recommend Dr Johns. The reception staff are always polite and friendly as well.

I see Dr. Johns, he is really good, if you call up for an appointment ask for him, avoid Dr Fitzgerald, he literally called me insane after 10 minutes just coz I have a MEDICAL issue so I can't wear shoes, yep, ignored my scaly legs and swollen feet and figured, hey this guy wears thongs, definitely insane then sent me to the wrong specialist, only reason I saw him was Dr. Johns was unavailable.

As soon as Dr Johns returned I cleared whole issue up as he is an actual professional.

Seriously just see Hayden Johns, I've also heard Wong is great. ANYONE except Fitzgerald, sadly he won't fire himself so he will remain, though if everyone refuses to see him maybe he will get the hint, quit and find a new job, one far away from medicine or humans in general.

I have been coming to this practice for a number of years and have quite enjoyed the services until recently.
Normally there is Ruth and another woman around the same age, they are so lovely! But, there seems to be some younger women working that are so rude, belittling and provide poor customer service, every time.
My last appointment, I was told my appointment was bulk billed (lovely) and I went off to work, then I get a call a few hours later stating that I need to pay. Obviously it was a shock as I thought it was bulk billed, but its only fair I pay my fee, so I did, over the phone. I said I wanted to stay on the phone to ensure the payment went through, I didn't want another call saying there were more issues.turns out she wrote my card details down and not actually put them into the EFT system. When I told her this was illegal her response was 'It's OK Farra' to which I advised it's absolutely not OK. It is illegal and she again responded 'I know Farra, but it's OK'. Her tone was so rude and condescending. I can only imagine she got on her high horse because she felt superior, most of the patients here are not white and have accents, I'm white but I have an accent but she wouldn't know my skin colour over the phone. I also have an ethnic name.
Then today, I have a phone appointment booked for in a few hours. I am confident it was the same girl, or the other young girl. Calling me for payment prior to my appointment, I politely advised I won't pay prior to the appointment as this means she will be holding on to my details (again illegally). Her response was 'yes you will be giving me your details, I'll write them down and process the payment after the appointment'. At this point, I was livid. Condescending again. I won't pay for a service before I've had it, nor will I be forced to give my details to someone so rude and unprofessional.
I'm currently waiting on Ruth to return my call today to discuss my recent experiences, depending on how this goes, I may be finding a new practice. Which is a shame because Dr Mah & Dr Wong are fantastic and a wealth of knowledge.
To the practice, you need to be hiring people that are polite, diligent and respectful of the fact that some of us regulars, have ongoing medical issues and don't need this every time we see a Doctor.

I wish I knew the names of the ladies who work the front desk, because I’ve seen one lady who is very lovey and kind… but some that are so awful. I was treated extremely badly and thrusted out the establishment after having been escorted inside by a medical professional next door, taking my bloods, who encouraged me it was okay to walk in with him and book an appointment if it was brief. It was 8am the day the borders re-opened, and at the time, I was still in the process of checking my personal health circumstance to evaluate the risk for me getting vaccinated. As soon as I approached the desk with the lovely gentleman who escorted me inside, the ladies at the desk abruptly told me to leave. I hesitated for a moment as I was walking away because I felt very awkward and didn’t know where they wanted me to go and was still waiting for the gentleman. Subsequently, one lady started raising her voice for me to continue leaving, as though I was threatening her personally, and began to engage in firm discourse with the gentleman about why he would let me in unvaccinated. He tried to explain my circumstance and they wouldn’t have a bar of it. Then one lady followed me down the hall, and wouldn’t cross over the threshold of the door as to not be in the same room as me, as I crossed over from the GP clinic into the building connected next door. She continued her conversation about me with the man, and was being extremely firm and said something to the effect of “if SHE wants to make an appointment, tell her SHE needs to ring through, also you have to keep this door shut between our two businesses”. She wouldn’t address me directly. I then took my mask off out of curiosity to see if she would talk to me again… and of course she was extremely quick to stare at me and say “YOU NEED TO BE WEARING YOUR MASK”… articulating every letter like I couldn’t understand her. Honestly, I’ve never been treated like a second class citizen. Most horrible experience and I can’t believe they approached that situation with absolute ZERO empathy. It was completely surreal, as I was not being difficult or trying to cause an issue, and they acted as though I was the biggest threat to their practice… when it was empty! Also, the borders had opened literally like what… two minutes prior? Did they think I was hi-giving everyone at the airport early in the morning before my 8am appointment there? The lovey man made a good joke of it to calm the situation down and then closed the door. But I don’t want to ever go there again because of the way I was treated. Also side note, Dr Man wasn’t nice to me either. Bad experiences there recently. Sorry to the staff and the doctors who are really nice there! I feel bad writing this but my experience was THAT bad! Had planned to write this review sooner, but I had gotten over it. Tonight I heard that something similar happened to a friend and thought it’s necessary to bring this kind of behaviour to light. Very unprofessional.

I made an appt to talk about my mum. After the appt, i had to call another 7 x times before I was given any info (I called again).

No apology was given for not returning my calls, and no explanation was provided. This is BASIC customer service. Poor standards.

Had an appointment at 12: 20pm, took my lunch break to go there. 1pm was still waiting with no word from anyone what was going on!
Had to get back to work.
Thank you for wasting my time! Not everyone can sit around for 40min plus waiting.

Attended appointment with David Fitzgerald I presented with breathing difficulties.he deemed it unnecessary for an inhaler yet later the hospital lung specialist prescribed me an inhaler! He is narsistic and rude, does not listen to his patient, and aspires to be a psycologist when it is apparent he is not gifted in this field nor does he have enough knowledge of his patient to make assumptions. Not a nice man and I would not recommend him, perhaps he could become a plant doctor and practice psychology on weeds so he can then make them shrivel up and die and not do it to patients!

The Dr is Obnoxious and rude. He has no empathy for his patient. Only if he was sick. This is how I became paraplegic from a Dr being the same. Only listening to Protocols not listening not to their patients. I didn't want this kind of procedure done. I have no choice now I have to go to Dr for meds now I just went in for a UTI he chose something that is not on the PBS that I have I have to pay for. Not picking any thing else there were 3, other meds to choose from. One he told me Australia has run out of and have to wait 3 months. He gave the a form to show what others meds I was I was resistant to. What a quack now I have to go a Dr and show the form and choose any of the 3 that he did not choose from.

The time is 6.00pm and I am still waiting. I think the time might be wrong, as I am still waiting. Dr. Fitzgerald is running late? Only been here once or twice - if your a pensioner you get bulk billed now! I can not remember if you have to make an appointment.
