I was fortunate to be referred, following a vehicle t-boning me on my push bike. Hannah and Selena have my well-being and recovery at the forefront. I wish I had been referred earlier. They have taken control so that I can focus on recovery. I am emotional while typing this, I am very happy with the genuine care.

Poor quality hospital and so run down. They have ridiculous visiting hours and can't bend the rules for a little more time, as if these patients are prisoners and lights out by 8: 30 and forced to sleep early. Can't afford tissue paper after the 3rd box you have to supply your own some nurses with bad attitudes and mum puts them in the right place. She was in for rehab after spinal surgery and is really keen to get it over with and never return again. Shes due for a scoliosis surgery and rehab will be at Calvery Adelaide, never again in Hampstead!

Min 10 hours wait for covid testing. Bring water & snacks. Rude covid Staff, not helpful at all. Not even allowed to stand under shade in 34c temp. You have to wait in car, make sure it had a/c and full tank of fuel

Drive through covid testing very busy today. Carpark attendants advised a two hour wait and they close bang on 4pm.

My dad had a stroke in May and ended up at the Hampstead Rehab Centre. Although the facilities are dated, the staff were absolutely amazing. Very dedicated nurses, physios, OTs, speech paths, social workers etc worked with my dad relentlessly to get him as quickly as possible to his best mobile independent self. My family greatly appreciates their hard work and care they have shown towards my dad. They cannot be faulted. The only comment i have is regarding doctors who want to move patients on too early when clearly not ready and i am greatful to the team who persisted and insisted my dad stays until he was ready and my mum was ready to have him back. I understand the beds are needed but noone asks to have a stroke so patience and care are greatly appreciated.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I was recovering from a brain injury and they helped me throughout the day to day tasks and memory tests. No one is genuinly happy about going somewhere new but as long as you keep a positive out look it can be a wonderful experience

I'm counting down the hours of the day before I can be discharged. Food is very average. A couple of the nurses have made me feel guilty for needing the bed. Get me home asap!

I was there for 3.5 mths recovering from a stroke. The physios and OT staff were fantastic and made my days easier. Their care and focus on the patients' recovery was second to none. Nothing else was though. Nursing staff generally were ok but a few were quite rude to the point of being disrespectful. Internally, the buildings were in a state of disrepair and food was reheated mush trucked in from the RAH. Couldn't wait to leave!

Be careful of Nadia. The Knives go in the patients and families backs quicker than a Denpasar Operating theatre. She's a Nasty piece of work, a true smiling assassin in front of you!

Not really professional. Cannot diagnose basic things correctly. Prescribe antibiotics for no reasons.

Poor vital communication between staff members and patients Family. Treatment of patients who cannot help themselves also needs to lift, compassion and attitude adjustments are paramount.

THE GOVERMENT NEEDS TO PUT IN MORE MONEY UNDERSTAFFED AND UNDERFUNDED AND MAKE IT THE WAY IT WAS 25 YEARS AGO.
I am a patient and habe found it terrible the public health system in sa is broken. There are not enogh staff to provide the services needed like physio speech ot and any referal from here to the RAH is given low priority and they do not let you know what services and support are available i had to find out from taljing to other patients and nurses. They have with held my pain meds which resulted in me having saw ribs for 2 weeks.

My partner is in the brain injury unit and is getting excellent care. The doctors are quick to investigate issues. The nurses and support staff understand the confused moods of the patients and always remain professional. They are great with the family as well.
