Hallett Country Store reviews
14Stopped in to grab a quick snack. Didn't have a chance to look around - looked interesting though. Food prices were a bit expensive. Worth a visit and a look around.
Great place to grab breakfast with fuel. Good friendly people and very welcoming to a group of motorcyclists attending the Great Southern Adventure Rally.
Fuel available Sundays, also they run a BnB in a train carriage next to it and a great cafe opposite. Handy to the Wild Dog Pub for meals and drinks.
Life saving food and water during my Mawson bike ride. Nicely situated between Burra and Spalding on that route
What a little gem in a small town. A wide range of local art and craft in the store is a great stop for craft lovers:)
Owner run, makes all the sweet treats, nice coffee, lots of antique things to browse if your into that, toilets opposite, so it's a one stop fill and empty or the other way round
Stopped quickly to get some supplies. Had food, drinks and some crafty items. Very friendly owner!
We did our shopping to topup our supplies here during our hiking trip on Heysen trail.
The owner is a firendly and welccoming gentleman and provided us with differen useful information of the locality.
Each time I have driven through this town on the way to the barossa, this store is closed.
Twice now I have needed petrol, thinking this was the nearest place before Burra and have arrived only to find it closed. Today I arrived at 3.15. The opening hours are until 4 but the place is closed.
Don’t count on this place being open if you need it. Better to bypass altogether.
A must see. The craft and arts are made by locals and value for money. We fuel up weekly as fuel prices competitive for the region. Enjoyed Chris and Sue's friendly customer service.
Very good suprise with antique s and bric brac great coffee and cake Lovely hosts look forward to returning
Don't know what Darren is talking about. He must of got out of the wrong side of bed. Good people, good food, enough said.
We cycled in on the Mawson Trail and were greated by extremely friendly staff who treated us to a Tasty breakfast and great coffee!
The store was well stocked with food and snacks that we stocked up on.
They staff also service a nearby hut that can be stayed in if passing through on the Mawson or Heysen Trail.
Highly recommend a stop here!
The guys here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Stopped by here on a Sunday with a suspected fuel leak and they organised a local to help out to investigate - luckily no leak! Really appreciated the help even though I initially want there to purchase anything! Thank you!
