H&A Coffee reviews
48Always a great stop when in when visiting jetty rd. Food, drinks and service always great.
Waited a long time after placing our order which consisted of one medium latte, one gin Martini and a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich.
We were given 2 Martini's and charged for it. They were $12 each, we got a $10 note back. The sandwich was toasted not a plain sandwich. The man who we think owns this business with his wife is out of his depth sadly.
This morning I had a lovely coffee and chat with the staff. I have just finished the take away cake. OMG. Warmed up it was delicious. Not so sweet. Yum.
Tried this place based on review by Steph W and I was not disappointed. The service was great and the lady was so sweet! Mint coffee was amazing! Eggs Benny was amazing! Highly recommend H&A and we will certainly be back again.
Lovely quaint place. Great coffee and friendly, quick service. Unique menu. Will definitely recommend and return!
This is a really beautiful coffee shop. The coffee and service is excellent. The genersl atmosphere is impressive. We were impressed by the impecable cleanliness of the shop.
BEST HOT CHOCOLATE EVER. (The Vienna)
Staff treated us very well, we asked to share a dish and they delivered our food on two seperate plates. Very efficient and a very lovely cozy place.
Love it! Will be back!
Not one to normally leave reviews but on having breakfast there this morning was very dissapointed. The food was below average absolutely no love puy into it. Food was not as written on menu.
The pierogi dish is so small and by paying $20 for it I would call it charity with dignity. It’s not really polish size and it wasn’t like on the photo with salad on side
I like this place a lot. The two times that I have gone, the attention You have been very kind and the breakfasts that I have tried *are very good* I recommend it!
I hate leaving negative reviews truly. It serves no-one but I'm pretty peeved. I have been a regular at this cafe for a while and I go there and ask for a coffee and cake nothing fancy and I'd expect to pay around $10. Anyway without telling me she puts $15.50 down on the machine and asks me to wave my card. I lean over to read the screen and I had already tapped my card but luckily it didn't go through. I say "whoa why's it so expensive? " She tells me she's added cream and ice-cream to it without informing me. Sorry but that's just ripping people off intentionally. I would seriously watch these guys and your wallet. They will happily take advantage of you. Over priced rip off merchants.
Great food and warm, friendly, pleasant hospitality! Beautiful, picturesque atmosphere. The food is DELICIOUS, try the smooth, creamy and tantalising ‘fitness breakfast”, or the PERFECT scrambled eggs! For lunch- you can’t go past the bratwurst sausage on a heated roll, served with the tasty & authentic sauerkraut - delicious & nutritious! Their home made soups are tasty, fresh and scrumptious! Great coffee also!
Argues with customer: Took my family, happy to support local. Friendly greeting so that was great. Andrew took my order, messed up my kids order. Coffee and food below average. The lady bought the wrong order - crepes looked slimy, rolled up. I wish I took a photo (but wasn’t intending to review) I tried to get my child to eat it (don’t waste food) but it was terrible even when I tasted it. I raised this that it wasn’t the order and we ordered croissant. They brought out the croissant. On leaving he said I needed to pay for the croissant even though I mentioned I didn’t order the crepes. He argued. Even if it was miscommunication, the quality of the crepes alone, I should have got refunded. Then to pay extra for food that I originally ordered? … honestly I was surprised how a customer was treated - keep the $6. Lots of improvement needed. Don’t recommend and won’t go back. Stick to more commercialised venues.
Was today with my Polish Girlfriend and she was Very Impressed! Pierogi was just like home and Kielbasa and Eggs were my favourite. Was so lovely to hear her speaking freely in Polish with the owners instead of listening to me butchering the language!
Took 45 mins to get 3 focaccias. When we asked how long they would be were told they were very busy! Perhaps inform people of that when they order. Focaccia was horrible the chicken looked like fish flakes and had no flavour. The food was delivered to our table with a grunt!
While the food was tasty we felt it was very expensive for what you got. Paid $20 for just 7 little pierogis!
Very friendly customer service. Nice coffee, the Polish Gourmet Hotdog hit the spot but the rhubarb tart, oh, a must get!
Really nice Polush dinky cafe, great service, food and delightful coffee. Definitely a must to visit.
Lovely staff at the cafe. The scrambled bacon and egg roll was amazing. Would recommend for a quiet, relaxing, and delicious brekky.:)
A cosy café, with a Polish twist. Had a good Latté, and eggs Benedict. Service was friendly, and will probably return. Give it a try, and you soon will learn.
