Greenock Brewers Barossa Valley reviews
35Awesome beers, friendly staff and atmosphere, great tunes. Lots of people were there last night. Dog friendly.
Always an amazing spot for a beer n chat please be kind to the brewmister he runs the show! He's a top bloke
We called into this place to have a beer, ended up having 3! Three different seating areas, outside, around the bar area, or out the back around the fire surrounded by the vats. Partner found his all-time favourite pale ale here! Owner is very welcoming and a great laugh. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!
Cracking brewery with fantastic beers, beautiful courtyard, super clean toilet and owners with a personality that is so rare these days. Dog friendly. Will be coming back
I was lucky enough to arrive when it wasn't too busy and ended up having a pretty decent chat with the owner. Got a bit of history on the place, some recommendations of things to see on the area and a good explanation of the beers on offer.
Worth the visit.
Nice venue in an older building, pleasantly restored and furnished. Decided on the beer flight / paddle - fove beer tastings, with notes for $11. No dud beers (and a very nice Brunskill Stout). The host was personable, genuine and pleasant. We had a great time just enjoying good company, good beer and interestong surroundings.
Unassuming little gem, with a great selection of locally produced beers and a fantastic customer service. Great find!
All the beers are lovely, especially the dark ale and stout! The guy talking us through the tasting was so lovely and we had a very wholesome experience
The brewery was actually closed but the owner Chris invited us in to look around the premises. A real character, who had us all laughing at his stories and "funny" beer bottles. Chris was also very informative about the area being a true local himself. Greenock is well worth a visit.
Country style brewery with one of the best Local BBQ platers I’ve seen!
Great relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating available that’s also dog friendly. Perfect way to unwind in the Barossa have a beer and a laugh at some of the best dad jokes going around presented by the hilarious and welcoming owner!
Seriously amazing beer. The victorville ale is superb. Ask Chris for a brewery tour. Great little beer garden. A def favourite.
A country pub feel. Very friendly service. Tasting paddle was good value at $11. Went from Pilsner to stout. I’m not a massive fan of darker beers but it was nice to try. I probably wouldn’t call them craft beers but I guess I’m used to some really crafty stuff. Indoor area was a bit dark and dingy like a shed bit it was a nice visit.
Great friendly service
The beer is delicious
Local cheese were great.
Lovely atmosphere
Friendly family owned Brewery. Lovely hosts, great sence of humour. Really good beer. Victorville and the Stout are outstanding. Will definitely go back next week.
Definitely worth a visit! Great beer and hospitality, with a personalised tour of the brewery! You can even bring your own bbq meat and cook it in the back garden!
A great place to spend the evening after tasting wine in the near by Barossa. The beef Jerky they serve is also the best I've tasted. The pale ale and the stout really do stand out as exceptional drops. The cheese board is incredible value and you won't be hungry after. Basically if they are selling it, its good! The fire inside, is lovely once the sun has gone down.just remind Chris (bar keep) to do some dishes now and again:) Happy wife, happy life Chris.
Amazing place and an amazing brewer. Beer is great and great atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and get there.
A great little brewery and they have a tasty new mid-strength on tap for the designated driver.
Beer tasting on 17th october 2019:
small but interesting breewery at Greenock.
We went there with a local friend and had a lot of fun (let them show you the "light beer bottle"). My favourite: BRUNSKILL STOUT!
The other beers taste to "lite" for a german beer taster ;-)
