Great River Korean BBQ Restaurant

We've been coming here recently for our date nights as we're trying to spend more time as a couple, without breaking the budget. Quality time with quality food. We've been coming on weekdays not very busy times and we enjoy the service and food. Keep up guys and hope we will always have a good service and food.

This is a very angry place for Koreans to go to.
First of all, it is a Chinese-style Korean restaurant run by Chinese people.
The rice came together and the meat was salty and seasoned.
The menu doesn't even have an explanation, but it's a mess and some of the employees don't speak English.
Hygiene is a mess, all the cutlery is stained, and the gas stove handle is pressed with something that looks like a strange water bottle with duct tape on it, and it's too dirty to put on the table.
The grill was also a mess, so the grill was already black and I was cooking meat, but the fire was only coming out strong on one side. I told the staff about it, and they very confidently answered that it was like this. Haha, the grills on all other tables are the same way.
I'm afraid of fire because of all the seasoned meat, so I'll just eat it all.nothing to eat.
I may have made a calculation mistake when I left, I went crazy.
Foreigners keep coming in, and when I see them ordering and saying, “Wow, it’s delicious, ” I’m so shocked that I want to tell them to leave right away.
This is a really crazy restaurant.

It was packed, but they had only three ppl working. They srsly needa hire more staffs cuz we basically felt invisible the whole time. We waited for a whole 15 minutes for them to swap out the grill and another 15 minutes just to place our order.

You can't even adjust the fire, our meat ended up scorched on the outside and raw inside. This is the worst Korean BBQ I've ever been to.

All you can eat Korean barbeque just for $35. I would recommend going in a big group, plenty of food to share, good taste and flavour.

Food was really nice, however for the banquet some of the items listed on it were now being charged extra for if you wanted. One of the three charcoal grills was not hot so could not be used for the sitting which was a bit frustrating - staff kept coming back to try to get it going. That being said was all you could eat for under $40 a head and plenty of variety - will be going back.

The BBQ didn't work properly at our table, so they moved us to a different table. The BBQ at the new table didn't work properly either. The restaurant was full of smoke because the vents at each table were useless. Filthy toilets with no soap. I cut my finger on a nail that was sticking out of my chair. Horrible dining experience.would never return.

There was a dead rat on my seat, other than that it was the best stuff I've ever had!

I had the pleasure of dining at Great River Korean BBQ Restaurant and was impressed by the wide selection of menu items. BBQ was fresh and delicious

Pathetic service. Been waiting for more than an our. They dint lite the bbq and no food. Shame.

We walked past this restaurant, and so never saw the rating on here, it deserves more than 3.3 stars. The buffet (all you can eat) option is the way to go, $39 on a Friday/Saturday night, cheaper through the week. The meat was great, go the Korean rice I think it was, potato salad and whatever else, if you factor in the price for what you get it's well worth coming here.
The food came out almost instantly, wait staff were busy and forgot the fried chicken, but they brought it out when we reminded them.

I and my friends went there yesterday, we were very disappointed because their staff behaviour were so bad, they seemed muted as when we asked to change the table cuz the fire did not work properly, they never said "sorry" or spoke to us, they just talked to each other in their language.wont come back anymore. Please approve your customer service and communication.

Me and my partner had to wait 45 mins outside for a table even though i had a reservation.i wasn’t able to tell any waiters that because there barely were any.my partner ordered a buffet and once we got it and i took a couple of bits of the meat, the waitress came up to us and said i wasn’t allowed to eat it because he ordered it for himself and that if i wanted meat i had to order another one for me instead.i honestly got really offended.food wasn’t that great either, definitely not going back there.

Cheap cuts of meat with rind through it. Hard to chew and swallow it. Kitchen and toilets are filthy. Just a nasty place in general.

Tl;dr, worst customer service, average food and long wait times.

Only came here because my favourite kbbq closed down but the customer service was so bad. They give you one serving of sides for 2-3 people, they give you attitude and don't listen to your orders properly, they become snarky when you tell them "this is not what I ordered" and forget to give you a spoon so you have call them over and ask for the third time. I can not exaggerate how rude one of the waitress were, we waited over 30 minutes for an order before we called her over, she gave us attitude and said she will go check, which she did. When she came out with our order, there was a meat on there that we didn't order so the obvious thing we did was tell her and I kid you not, she shrug her shoulders, put her hands up and goes "I don't know, I don't know, this is what you ordered" in the sneering way and just walked away.

Just had Korean bbq at this place and it was terrible. The service and the food was late and by the time it arrived there was little given on the plates.
The waiters had no idea which plate of food to deliver to. LOL!
This is not an authentic Korean bbq as it states. Only came here as the Korean bbq on Glen Osmond Road was closed today.

Horrible customer service experience. We have to ask multiple times for food and beverage, the staff was rude. Definitely not recommended.

New staff has lack of attention, must ask there cutsomers of how they're doing in order to prevent mistakes, Honestly disappointed.

Meat was absolute trash as well as the service.everyone’s grills kept catching on fire.i had to ask for my first glass of water 3 times.

Food was average, service was average, booking had not been recorded so we were lucky to get in. Men's toilets disgusting- not cleaned in years. Great concept, poorly executed.
