I ordered a Pizza over phone. The lady who answered the call stated that it will be ready in 15 minutes. I went to the store after 20 minutes and they said “Sorry, the girl who took the order, went on her break”. I was late for my job because I had to wait another 15 minutes. Not good on staff. Poor communication amongst the staff.

I had some seafood sticks and chips a week ago - and they were really nice. Had 2 tiny pieces of Whiting, 4 tiny scallops and 4 strips of calamari - $32? Really? No thanks!

Great customer service with a smile and good Verity of seafood to pick from whether cooked or take away to be cooked at home.

Placed a late notice order for close to 50 pizzas on a Saturday night. Pizzas were ready within and hour and all great quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Big thanks to you all

Very greasy Fish and potato cakes. I Think $5.20 minimum chips were like $2-3 worth. Spuds must be very expensive in SA. Ordered from their online brochure and the girl says it’s old, fish now is $8.80.on line was $6.80 Fix your price list up. You advised at the caravan park then tell people all your prices have gone up heaps.

Called in to gottabe fish and Pizza on way back from Port Lincoln ordered whiting and chips came out in large wrapped paper opened when back on the road and were 2 TINY pieces of fish and 8 tonne of chips.not happy when I originally planned to share this with my daughter not even enough for a 7 year old never mind and adult $18 wasted. The only reason I give 1.star was the pizza was large and well cooked.want a nice pizza go here but NOT if your only getting fish. Disappointed stop off.

Staff were quite rude and food was underwhelming
Came back from a long day of travelling to these meals and were less than impressed

Tasty meals, friendly service. Generous servings of chips. Street parking available out front. Currently no dine-in seating available due to the pandemic. Only some seats for customers waiting for takeaways.

We chose their lunch special, butterfish, chips and a drink for $10, some dim sims and a bacon, eggs and cheese roll. When I entered the front area was empty, and a woman came out to me and unsmilingly said someone would be right with m and walked away, clearly customer service wasn't as important as what she was doing. A minute later a lad came out. He served me and cooked my food, serving another customer very adequately in between. Another customer then came in and she again came out and started serving them, again unsmiling but in the middle of this got sidetracked. She was watching the lad as he cooked. She explained her lack of attention by saying "I have to watch he's doing the right thing and when I do I catch him doing the wrong thing. " Or words to that effect. IMO he could teach her a thing or two about customer service. Not sure if she is his mother simply his boss but it was rude and so very disrespectful of the lad. As a customer I don't want to hear that rubbish and as an amployee, had it been me, I likely would have walked out and told her to shove her job.

The lad who served me did a bloody awesome job. He was polite, he cooked it all perfectly and even timed each part so well that it was all presented to me fresh and hot all at the same time. Great food and luckily I had the exceptional service of the lad rather than the woman.

This place seems to be really hit and miss. We had it twice in two weeks- the first time it was great, some of the best fish and chips we have had. We were excited to go back again. The second time it was really mediocre- when we got it home, we unwrapped it to discover the fish order was wrong, we were given very few chips, and the cook hadn't put any salt on any of it. I ordinarily wouldn't bother reviewing since the first meal was great, but I was horrified while I was there picking up this order to see the cook handling money from customers and then walking straight over and battering and crumbing raw fish without washing his hands or using gloves or tongs. They seemed short of staff on a busy weekend, but it was so disappointing to see the lack of food hygiene. Please address this- we loved the first meal we had with you and that first cook seemed to be doing the right thing, but if I saw the same behaviour next time I wouldn't go there again.

Service is aleays friendly and efficient. The food is consistently good, never had a bad meal there yet.
Business is easy to find and parking is plenty.

I really thought the days of good fish n chip shop were over but today found myself in port agusta and what a perfectly cooked battered fish and served with a smile I will be back thank you 10 out of 10

Was only in Port Augusta overnight, not a lot of options for food delivery apart from cheap and nasty pizza joints so decided to give this place a go as an alternative. Delivery took a while (guessing it was busy) but worth the wait, one of the best lamb kebabs I've ever had and my partner loved the meat lovers pizza. Good service on the phone taking our order too. Would go back if we were in Port Augusta again.

Great friendly service and advice to an interstate visitor to thier town. Great value for money. Smiling, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend any traveller looking for a great feed of fish and chips to buy here. Thank you so much

Awesome food.

We just arrived from Brisbane via Uluru. Looking for fish and chips for dinner, and found this place. Got the butterfish and chips for $12. Fantastic, crunchy battered fish and great fries. And a 15" reef pizza for $27. Wow. Octopus, and pineapple and fresh tomato. Def worth the stop.

OMG. This is a locals favorite and from advice and promoting for a glorious meal.
3 of us were totally smiling during and after our orders.

Asked for grilled flake and it was definitely not, as I also ordered a fried flake and that was definitely a beautiful piece, I think the other was butterfish

Decent price for the quality of food. There is better quality food in town but you’ll be paying far more for it. Schnitzel packs are good value and the gravy is great.

We had pizzas at this establishment. Clean and pleasant building. Staff were not personable. Pizzas were made with fresh ingredients but were tasteless.
