5Very nice quiet place to stay.none or limited phone coverage which is great if you don't want it for a couple of days.
It was an enjoyable experience, the place was nice, no bogans (thankfully). There were no other random humans there to ruin my experience which was a very great thing. However there were these giant rat thingies that were bouncing around, worst of all they always stared at me when I ate some freckles, as if they knew that I took them from the fridge without asking. They bounced around as if they owned the cottage. The environment was good, anyone who wants to build a shelter will be satisfied (for ONCE!). Would recommend to most, not bogans they must be kept out. LOL
Location was amazing, really lovely. Hot weekend though, and no air conditioning just a few rattly fans that didn't quite cut it. Amenities OK, very rustic basic here, e.g. Loaded with second hand shop pots and pans etc. Not great for tiny kids, slate floor is crumbly and lots of hazards even inside. Bedding was also dirty, stained dirty (looked like blood!) and a few other issues. Just a bit more effort and attention to detail we'd give this 4 stars, if it had A/C maybe 5.
Amazing view. You spot a Kangaroo every hour from the living room. Sometimes 1 meter from the cottage.
Such a quaint but well maintained cottage. Love the roo's at dusk that come up right to the cottage. Great place to relax after a day's hiking.
