Gong Cha Adelaide reviews
23Happy experience at the Gong Cha store. The staff did my order quite fast, and instructions were followed. Will come back here again to order my boba in the future.
I have had many bubble tea drinks in my life but there's something about this one that stood out. The pearls are very chewy and the tea is very well brewed and aromatic. Better than any other bubble tea shop including other Gong Cha shops.
I had the warm Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3Js, I love the way it was packaged, and the person who serviced me was very nice and made my order quickly. The only downside is that I didn’t like the taste of the milk tea, a little too strong for me. Nice place overall
Made me and my Mum sick and we are sick for about 1 week. The pearls were not to bad they were just hard and tasted awful.
The lady got a terrible customer service, we are asking for latte and she couldnt understand well and give us different one and we explained it to her and she is starting to raise her voice. Management should start looking at the reviews and start firing that Girl. There is a lot of complains about her. Or else we would love to go to council and let them start having a check about your store. She is very rude i hope you fire her
Had lunch and decided to look for bubble tea. Lucky for us we found Gong Cha.
Had 2 Oolong and 1 green tea. Mixtures of pearls, aloe and coconut jellies. Just as good as any gong cha. Never disappointing.
A lot less busy than the other Gong Cha in Rundle Mall, the queue is usually only a few people:) I'm personally not a huge tea-drinker (although I will likely try some at Gong Cha), but I do quite like their chocolate smoothie. Customer service is good, and you don't have to wait too long for your drink: D
While their drinks are good, the staff is absolutely terrible. They never greet or smile and dont even acknowledge your presence until you are next, even when the store is completely empty. Especially the evening staff. Even when serving they dont even say a word and dont even look at you many a times
I went here to get a bubble tea. What the hell? There are no bubbles in the tea? If it's called bubble tea then there should be bubbles in the tea.
Also, the tea tasted soapy? But There Was No Bubbles In The Tea?
Honestly one of the best Gong Chas. The workers are so friendly and nice and they always and i mean always get my order correct. Highly Recommend this place over the Rundle Mall one.
They messed up both of my orders. Ordered a brown sugar milk tea - they didn’t even put in pearls. Got matcha milk tea - they gave me milk tea: (not happy. DO NOT GO HERE!
Loved this place was absolutely gorgeous, couldn't have asked for more, I highly recommend this place. Was a good outing with my friends and I will return again:)
The tea is very sweet if you get standard sweetness but very good nonetheless. Gong Cha will fill up your bubble tea cup if you bring your own which is great.
All the same, products at all gong cha r the same. But needs to improve on customer service. Lots of them don't even speak English.
First outlet I guess of Gong Cha I visited and its still carry the same warmth and feel. Love their milk teas.
Gong Cha has the best bubble tea. That's final. Just make sure to ask for little ice to prevent watering down your drink. Of all the places I've tried, this has the best tea, my favourites include the wintermelon tea, oats and pearl (discontinued from what I know), taro milk tea and honey dew tea. You should almost always ask for the tapioca (if you ask for it, it's known as pearls). If you feel like you want to experiment, I've found the coffee jelly is great. They also sell smoothies and all sorts.
Basically everything is good, I could write a novelette on each combination (of which there are endless amounts). If you want a good first impression, you can't go wrong with a wintermelon or honey dew milk tea with pearls.
Staff felt a bit hesitant but that's understandable since I didnt know what I was doing when ordering my first tea. From what I've heard, this place offers great customisable bubble tea at an okay price. The staff show quality in their work which pays off in a lovely tasting bubble tea.
Enjoyed visiting Chinatown on a quiet morning; bubble tea went well with pastries from Breadtop.
I want to gong Cha on Charles street and I ordered a wintermelon tea and I got one that tasted like mango. The one in China town is way better.
This place can't be compared with the Chinatown store. The flavours aren't right and for some reason always taste too watery and not like proper Gong Cha.
