Had our food take away, so hard to comment on the atmosphere, but seems like a chill hang.

The food was great tho, the golden eggs. Delicious, and the wontons, delectable.

9/10 would eat again.

We got a family set menu option and there was sooo much food. The table was too small to fit it on. The heat was a little uncomfortable. The food was delicious!

Everything about this place was great, food, the vibe, except for the service. We were completely forgotten about throughout our entire evening.
We were promptly served to order food and drinks however only one of our entrees arrived then 20 minutes later another one came and finally the other one arrived after we had to get a staff member to track it down. The first two were stone cold by the time we all
had our entrees.
We learnt our lesson from the entrees and didn’t wait for each others mains to arrive before eating and luckily we did the first main came out 30 minutes before the others and the third one never came. We have to ask for a staff member to get the remaining two mains and then again when only one showed up. By that point we had finished eating everything on the table and they had taken the plates so we just said cancel the last main. They were apologetic when we paid however after having to ask for our food on more than two occasions you would think the staff would be ensuring it doesn’t happen again.

Great food, a fusion of Asian and Western with plenty of delicious choices. Plates are designed to be shared so meal sizes are large, you certainly won't be leaving hungry from here. Service was also amazing. Will definitely be calling back here again when in Adelaide.

Had a great night, excellent food and atmosphere. Annie and her team did a great job for a busy Saturday night.

Had a great service here! Food was pretty good, wouldn’t say I would be raving and recommending it to friends but it was pretty decent! The only thing I disliked about the place is it’s not properly ventilated. I left smelling like smoke and food and it was pretty strong. I really really hope you guys do something about it.

Everything is perfect especially food. The only thing that I will say can be improved is restaurant seats are so close to each other. People laugh and talk very loud. So we barely can hear each other.

Tonight was my first time at Gondola Gondola and I'm already planning my next visit. The portions were huge and every dish was delicious. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. I liked the dark atmosphere and the service was exceptional. A new local favourite. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Absolutely incredible food.

Rating and compliments only for the FOOD! Finger licking good. Overpriced food and overly overpriced cocktails. Great atmosphere and excellent flavours of the food served on our table. However zero rating for staff. Ignorant and kept chatting to themselves without any check-in. Struggled to get their attention

Nice Asian fusion restaurant/bar with a great atmosphere. Food is excellent and worth the price. Desserts could do with a little improvement though as they were quite small and bland.

Contemporary Asian dishes which are well plated, reasonably sized and striking flavours. Front of house was courteous and friendly. And the decor is modern and funky.

Horrible experience overall, ordered the medium rare wagyu rump which turned out to be a soggy salad with strips of beef, beef was chewy and not cooked medium rare, not worth $42. Meals did not come out together and staff were rude and unhelpful

Interior is well moddeled and reminds me of a traditional SE asianoutdoor food court.

Great food, relatively fast service. Decently priced for a restaurant on peel st. Staff was friendly, ended up spending just under 60 bucks for main course and a cocktail

Visited recently for dinner with my wife and a couple of friends. We arrived on a Thursday early evening for dinner, without a reservation. The staff said we had to sit outside on Peel St as all the tables were booked, although the place was empty and remained empty for the couple of hours that we were there. The seating on Peel St is not great as it's down the Hindley St end. It was cold, grubby and dark so not a great atmosphere for enjoying a meal. The food itself was ok but forgettable and a little overpriced for 'street food'. I really wanted to like this place more but it just wasn't that great. I might go again at some point as it could have been an off night but I'm not in a hurry as Adelaide has plenty of interesting restaurants delivering delicious food.

I don’t know where to start: we spent $120 and left after half an hour hungry and utterly disappointed. The cooks were on their phones buying shoes online. I kid you not, we could see their screens! Tiny portions with barely any flavour accompanied by 2 leaves of salad. The stuffed squid was chewy, had no flavour and was floating in a flavourless broth. I had to return my $38 piece of meat as I couldn’t even cut it. Chewy, tough, no flavour again. To add insult to injury: the female cook was staring at us and giving us the stink eye after we returned our dish. They are not getting 2 stars just because the waitress and the cashier were apologetic and tried to make up for the bad experience.

God damn this place is BANGIN'.

The food is awesome and their espresso martini thing was so good damn delicious I had 4, and everyone on the table ended up getting one too.

10/10 will return just for that drink alone.

Besides the incredible food, the staff is also incredible. Every time I come to Adelaide, having dinner at Gondola Gondola is mandatory.

Really disappointed. Had high expectations but left bemused by the overall lack of flavours and high prices.
Medium rare wagu rump dish was actually a salad of well done steak very thinly sluced and more chewy than cheap supermarket rump steak.
Don't get me started on the overpriced side of fried rice.the only way you knew it was fried was by the puddle of oil on bottom of plate. It was literally like steamed rice with egg and spring onions. No flavour at all.
Won't be rushing back.

Loved the whole fish, staff were lovely. Cocktails average (lemon still had the sticker on it within my drink). Ordered three sides to go with mains for our table of 5. We had finished our mains and no sign of the three sides, let the waitress know to cancel the sides but were told that two out of three had been cooked so we had to purchase. Mains were generous serves. Would have been nice to have been advised that sides weren’t needed and would have been nice to have received sides with our mains. Not a cheap experience but overall good value for money.
