Spend upto $80 3x a week food is good but rude when they make mistake they won't fix it and hang up in your ear Driver delivered to our letterbox 50 metres away and didn't bring change with him only EFTPOS we stated we paying cash didn't get our bottle of coke and refused to bring bottle of coke even tho they made the mistake. Lost yourself a regular customer just for hanging up on us.

Always good. Pity they are not open all week but understandable since covid. Salt & pepper squid is 1of the best in Adelaide & the Thai fries rice

I reviewed this restaurant 3 years ago with a 4 star rating.when it was ran by an older lady. The food was fantastic
However October 2022.
Ran by younger family members now and the food was very average with the Singapore noodles not even edible.
I had one mouthful and was almost sick.
Everytime I ordered Singapore noodles from here the previous lady would repeat the order as curry Singapore noodles. I ordered this time and they were served in fish sauce that was greasy and totally disgusting actually smelling off and the taste was just awful.
Everytime I have ordered Singapore noodles they have always been curried.
I complained and was informed that's how they serve them, I had no offer of a discount an entire plate costing $20 wasted and therefore decided not to order desserts as planned, we paid and left.
The entree was small and pitiful, the special fried rice was bland the sweet and sour pork were frozen brought and a tiny serving and the steak and blackbean had more onion than steak.
I informed the young girl that I had always ordered from an older woman and she always gave the noodles as curry. She informed me she left 2 years ago. I know this to be untrue. She was there months ago doing a function when we last ordered.
We will not be back now
There are plenty of other good Chinese shops around I'd rather spend my money at and get better quality and bigger servings.
TERRIBLE

Special fried rice - atrocious. It was boiled rice with 2 prawns. Cold flavourless spring rolls. Pork was meh. Called to complain, management basically blamed our tastebuds for not liking their food. No apology. No offer of compensation for the wasted $53. Would get better customer service and flavoursome food from Maccas. And Maccas is gross.i didn’t even want to give one star but i had to.

Yummy food. Good and fast service. Was busy with take away. Dining in was relaxed. Overall nice experience.

This is hands down, the best Chinese food I have had since I moved to Australia.
This restaurant is friendly and clean.
The staff are amazing.
Family owned and run. I have been a satisfied customer for many many years.

Always great food from Golden Lakes, their satay combination is amazing, also their fried dim sims are a must! Our usual Friday go to takeaway

Wonderful meal! Stopped by for take away for the two of us. Ordered one entree (Mongolian Fillet Steak) and (plain) rice as well as two soup. The soup will keep for a meal tomorrow as we split the entree and the rice and both of us had plenty! The beef was super tender; sauce had wonderful flavour. Great to see staff wearing a mask when we came in and ordered (as well as picked up) ; there was a customer waiting on our return, however, who had his mask in his hand and not on. Oh well. We're house sitting in the area and will most definitely return.

Tonight was the first time we ordered but it definitely won’t be the last! Every dish we ordered was delicious. Thank you, was so good.

Best Chinese food around the area, always fresh always great service and great prices. We don’t go anywhere else.

Very nice food. Service was great got it delivered. Price was good. Ordered Honey Chicken, Sweet & Sour chicken, fried rice, prawn chips, dim sims, spring rolls &hokkein noodles & vegetables. Would order Again.

We've bought take-away food here several times and it has always been very good. The prices are very reasonable and the staff very friendly. Well done.

Worst chinese food I've ever tried. Such a disappointment. Ordered salt and pepper chicken, Singapore noodles and a special fried rice. All 3 tasted exactly the same; like someone dropped a bottle of fish sauce in while cooking and the same pot was used. Gross. $53 thrown away

Just went and picked up my order drove all the way from north haven to get home and no beef satays in the bag won't be returning

Friendly service, great food in a warm comfortable atmosphere.this was our first but definitely last visit.looking forward to the next time.

Weird tasting dim sims, bland fried rice and over cooked chicken makes for very poor takeaway that we couldn’t even finish eating.

Been a family favourite for ages. Used to be on Military Road and the menu hasn’t changed in 25 years.which is a good thing.

We have been doing takeaway from this Chinese Restaurant for a very long time and have always been more than happy. But our last takeaway experience way way below par. The food was tasteless and the Singapore Noodles were mushy and all broken up. So disappointing after such a long time of being happy
