Golden Grove Health Centre reviews
7Rude, cold, abrasive reception staff… all too busy chatting and not serving. When they do bother to serve the tone is very sharp and borderline aggressive.no warmth and no compassion. Really don’t know how they hold a job
A rude and intimidating desk staff that seem inconvenienced when you ask for more than expected. I used multiple doctors, and eventually moved clinics. They all seemed very run off their feet and, in my case; didn't understand or accommodate mental health patients well. The exception being Dr O'Driscoll, who is a stand out doctor but that I was unable to see again.
To add salt to the wound, I paid a $30 fee to have my previous test results forwarded to my new GP. Yesterday I found out that it took this practise almost 3 months to send a single summary page. I have long term chronic illness, including neurodevelopmental conditions; having these results for comparison would be exceedingly useful to me right now, but I guess I expected too much from a practise that also failed to correctly diagnose me for 5+ years.
Bloke at the desk was extremely rude when I told him I had booked my appt.online and it wasn't in the system. Was told to just wait. Doctor was obviously rushed but was quite abrupt and didn't seem to listen to me and finished with "I suppose you'll be wanting a note for work". I was being spoken to as if I were a teenager wasting time.
Back at reception the man on the desk continues to complain to me about their online system and that he "just had to take my word for it" that I and others did book online. I used to go to this surgery years ago. I remember why I don't usually nowadays. I was made to feel like a stupid inconvinience and my health concern not taken seriously. Not impressed at all to be honest.
Very unhappy with one of the reception staff, so much that it's made me change medical practices after being a patient for many years. She always speaks down to me, cuts me off mid sentence and is quite rude. I have adhd and memory problems and she charges me if I forget or reschedule an appointment (my new practice does not do this). I've requested to get my medical records transferred over to a new gp over two months ago. When I rang to chase it up, the same receptionist gave me a charge of $30 and still will not be sending my medical records until another week. She makes me anxious and I've been months now without any medication as my new gp is waiting for my medical records. The doctor I used to see there however, Dr Priess is fantastic. It's a shame the one staff member let the team down.
A passionate and professional team, committed to the health of their patients and family. Trusted and able to be relied upon for assistance with injury and illness and up to date with changing National Immunisation Programs and family Heathcare advice.
The reception staff and doctors are extremely friendly and helpful. Could not recommend them highly enough
Ladies at front desk were asked by my doctor to photocopy papers sent from separate clinics, so I gave them the papers at the end of the session and left on my way. Next time I visited they told me that I never gave them the papers, and snapped when I suggested that I did. Extremely rude.
