Golden Chicken And Seafood reviews
37Stingy bunch and food isn't that fresh. Ordered a medium ($8.90) chips and this is what I got! Won't be going back. Highgate fish shop for the win!
$56.90 worth of food. They had even ran out of burger buns and gave it on bread. $56.90 what a rip off!
Edit - The schnitzel is burnt! Now its even more of a rip off! One of the burgers only weighs 290 grams. The rip offs just keep coming!
OK bbq chook and chips. Later in the evening, so did the job.
Nothing particularly good or bad so 3 * means average ie not a bad review
Ordered a whole roast chicken ($17.50) and large chips ($10). Quality this time wasn't as good as before but still OK - eg, chicken was a little smaller than last visit (a few months ago), and chips were slightly overcooked and over salted.
This is the best Korean fried chicken ever! Especially, Korean style marinated fried chicken wings which used to be our family's weekend treat but we are in other state now, so sad.def will be back here again!
I’m sorry to say, over the past couple of months the standard seems to have dropped.
My usual fish and chips has become very greasy and not enjoyable, as it once was.
Ordered a chicken to pickup but they sold it - rubbish service - sorry no chicken is all I got!
This is one of my favourite places to get crispy Korean chicken. We always make sure to stop in on our way back into the Adelaide hills. Very friendly staff and amazing customer service. And must I say the food stays hot and chicken stays crispy all the way back home to Woodside. Will always keep coming back here.
Schnitzel was overcooked & very dry and salty. Was cut into pieces as well, not even half a snitty
Love golden chicken and seafood. Love the sweet spicy Korean chicken wings. They are so sweet, the skin is so crispy l had a 24pack and that feed 3 adults easily. But getting a etra large pack cause they are even nice cold and what can l say THEY ARE YUMMY
First time here. Ordered beef schnitzel pack. The beef is so thin the bread crumbs are thicker. Over cooked. The chips are over cooked. What a waste of money. I had to wait 20min for the order do be given poor quality food.
We always get take away korean fried chicken here and it’s delicious! They pack it nicely in a box and stays crispy when you take it home. I’ve been buy it for the past 3 years and it never changed. Spicy soy and sweet and spicy is the best!
Ordered Korean fried chicken today it tasted alright however I wanted to point out that their ads are misleading. The cashier lady said it's 36 pieces for $38 she didn't mention it was ONLY including wings. We were pretty disappointed. Very over priced for only tiny chicken wings. Wouldn't recommend it. They should change the name on the menu from Korean fried chicken to Korean fried chicken wings.
Absolutely disgraceful. I paid $13 for a lamb (I use the term lamb very lightly) yiros and it was tiny, almost empty, the lamb was disgusting processed meat that looked and tasted more like Cheap over salted supermarket sausage meat and lightly garnished with shredded old limp and slimy iceberg lettuce. I could not even finish it. I only gave one star because you cant give none. Maybe I can give the star to the chips, not great chips but not bad ether. I would Not Order a yiros from here if they were paying me $13 to eat it!
I really love their korean soy chicken. Some find it quite salty but it’s just perfect for me. Very tender, juicy and flavourful.
Best Korean chicken in Adelaide. Not overly battered and still a nice crisp texture which persists even after a long period.
Try the hot soy sauce if you like a bit of chilli kick, without the stickiness of other sauces.
This is a regular dish for the family, even though we aren't local
Paid $13 for lamb yiros plate that came with a slice of tomato, a bit of lettuce and a few tiny chunks of rubbery tough lamb.
Hand sanitizer dispenser was just filled with water. Total rip off and waste of money
Serves are not as generous as they used to be.
Only 2 small tartare sauce containers with the 6 fish pack.
I did some calculations when I got back home and found that I had been charged $7 per drumstick quarter chicken piece. Price not listed online menu to check so will query when/if I go back next.
We ordered 3 chicken schnitzel packs. All the schnitzels were overcooked
As we asked for gravy on the side for all 3 packs we were shocked when told we had to purchase the gravy. It cost us $5.00 for a small container of gravy
Best fried chicken! Especially their hot soy, love the spiciness of it. I've tried so many different korean fried chicken in Adelaide and Melbourne. Nothing will EVER beat golden chicken!
