Great chicken shop. Chips are excellent as they have a good selection of salads. The were able to cater for 12 people with only about one hour notice.

Our local never disappoints. Fast, production line like process that seems to work well when busy. Always clean and tidy. Great quality, consistent food. Will continue our patronage for many years to come.

The food here is generally good portion size and quality. However the beef schnitzel pack i had was a little bit ordinary. You are charging the same as any other shop in the area but the food is stretched really thin.
It looks like a regular piece of schnitzel but i dont know how you can get the beef sooooooooo thin. Just chips and bread crumbs.

As I gaze at the bird I am about to eat, the endorphins rush to my brain. Never have I seen a finer specimen, I nibble at the skin to reveal the succulent flesh that lie beneath, I restrain myself from consuming it all at once. I take my time and take in the beauty of what is in front of me. Still hypnotized by the exquisentness of what lay in my reach, I wrap my lips around the whole lot and go caveman on the remainder, still remembering what chef used to tell me. "Ya gotta eat"!

Bloody good feed.

This is more about menulog than Golden chichen. Did not realise how much the mark up was for using their app. Approx 25% on most items even for collection. Reckon it cost me extra $20 for my order which even when I got there still was waiting 10 mins so would have cheaper to just go and order and wait rather than use the menu log app.

One of the worst service ever and excessive wait time. Avoid this at all cost and give your money to someone who cares. These guys use everything frozen. Wouldn't go there ever

Not the best. Would recommend elsewhere. Used to be good here but now it’s just soggy bleh chips I recently got chips and gravy and it was just a foul container of mush. Had a terrible tummy ache afterwards as well.

Had the seafood basket the other day and it's quite good. Potion is generous and the chips are crunchy outside, tender inside.

Used to be the best chips ever. I would pay extra as many to bring back.

Goldies has been our go to for years. We have moved away from the area but still come up the hill to Golden Chicken. I always have the prawn pack. The chips are awesome, so are the golden rolls. Great efficiency with ordering and service is friendly and professional.

I just bought the worst meal. The chips were cold. The “fresh” salads had signs of sitting in the fridge for a couple of days and the seasoned chicken was inserted with slop. To make it worse the service was average with gum chewing man not doing a thing but look around. Kid putting his hands through his hair then opening a bag for a chicken with said hand and picking up the oldest chicken. Mr chip obviously didn’t care which the cold over cooked offerings. The meal was thrown in the bin and for a night off cooking ended up wasting $57 and cooking

Used to be the best chips in the south. 2 months ago Chips were soggy and appeared to be cooked in old oil? Thought Id try again tonight and they were no different. Very disappointing. Have been going there for 20yrs.

Ameded review: since the new owner has taken over, the quality has dropped and now is not worth the stomach ache. Half cooked chicken in our last order, chips were over salted, soggy and oily. Tasted like old oil.

Staple of the south! Such a good takeaway service! The $7.50 hot chicken roll is to die for! So so much chicken inside and all quality!

Would advise ring through order, I had to wait nearly half an hour for my order they were doing loads of uber and pickups

Was let down harder then a bright left at alter. Chicken was colder then a gold diggers heart. Just not it.
