Golden Chain Tower Motor Inn

Average motel accommodation, looking tired and in need of a room reno. Rooms have been given a lick and a promise in the way of cleaning for months so much build up of fluff and lack of care. Room was $180 for dust. Shower dribbles water sparingly so unpleasant experience difficult to mix temps. Bed was super comfy, great linen and pillows and electric blanket was a bonus to use as it was a cold night. Rev ac worked well. Room had kettle and toaster which was great.

The entrance and exterior to this venue was uninspiring. However, the Superior Queen Room was superb! It was in excellent condition, clean and well equipped. The kitchenette had a sink and all washing up gear was provided. There was a good stock of tea and coffee. The complimentary biscuits were a nice touch. The shower was great. There were lounge chairs as well as a counter area with bar stools for dining. There were shelves for 2 suitcases. The free Wifi connection was good. Paper and plastic recycling was encouraged. There was a covered BBQ and outdoor eating area. Parking was easy to access. Although situated on a busy road, we heard no traffic noise. A superior room, for sure!

Room is terrible nothing like the website picture room 15 ask for another room would be happy to pay more but all booked out got this on travel auction never again just want to go home waste of money

We had a wonderful experience in Tower Inn Motel rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and amazing staff enjoyed our stay.

Perfect refurbished room. Spotlessly clean, well set out with good storage and very comfortable bed. Host was lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be happy to stay here again.

A very good hotel, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 2 nights. Clean and quiet. SIept well both nights.so that's a good thing. Rooms were fine. Had the basic amenities so nothing to complain about.

I would have liked a couple of single beds but other than that it was pretty good!

The worst in mount Gambier. Rude, disrespectful and dishonest owners. They hide booking policy during reservation and advised cancellation is available within 24hrs but when I called 10 mins after first call, and booking was not confirmed yet, they refused to cancel, charged me full night without staying there.they used threatening language and hang up phone every time I called. I had to report them to consumer Affairs. Please stay away from those people! Stay anywhere else.

Very friendly staff, allowed us somewhere to stay after being in the hospital all night and provided us with an extra bed and snacks. Would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing lady on the front desk, helped us download south Australia covid app on phone and recommend great pub to have tea, very clean and tidy units close to pub.

The staff are friendly and manger Catherine is very helping. Location is good. But the property really need an upgrade. The photo are deceiving and very very old property for a holiday stay.

The rooms are very neat and clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay there next time as well and recommend everyone to try this one.

Room far exceeded expectations.beautiful fittings and bathroom and very comfortable QS bed. A travel auction 3 night stay with Continental breakfast included great value and the staff friendly and helpful.
