Golden Chain Murray Bridge Oval Motel

Just stayed overnight. Staff are A1. Very friendly, stayed open for a little bit so we could check in after an 11 hour day on the road. Just finished breakfast. Huge and cooked well. Family room suited us well. It is fully self contained. We had a very good sleep. Definitely will be back.

Emily I think it was who checked us in was awesome, helpful and super friendly. Unfortunately we were not in the best accommodation The pics online look much nicer than the cottage we got. Would not stay again.

We did a last minute booking. Short staycation and Monarto zoo with the kids. The lady greeting us at the counter was lovely and upgraded us to a Villa. Much appreciated! She also recommended a local restaurant for dinner. (Always pays to ask for local advice!)
The No. 1 Villa was quite spacious. Housing all the standard conveniences. It was neat and clean.
The hair dryer was broken on the end. Nothing really to fault at all besides that.
We appreciate the prepared cold water, biscuits and teas, fresh towels, sheets and pillows.
There was a queen bed room, and another room with two single beds.
Beds were really comfy and the pillows were supportive. Usually I overheat with the quilt, but I was fine with these ones.
I would love to offer a higher rating, but the area is not very pleasing to the eyes. With the waste bin area in full view. It's a little run down as well, but no complaints.

A long drive and finally settled down and check in. Friendly staff and rooms are cleaned and tidy. Decent and can't demand more at the affordable price. One minor negative is the toilet is inside the queen bedroom so inconvenient for kids.

So impressed with this beautiful motel! Came back to a beautifully cleaned room and was super appreciative of the friendly and welcoming staff- the milk was a great addition?

I like the place it's quiet and the owners live on site if there is any trouble. Has microwave toaster some cutlery wine glasses. Room ok not big but it has 2 chairs coffee table. TV.

So so nice group of people help us out with an extra night when my son could not travel as he was unwell. This on top of the Villa being clean, roomy and at a good price.

Rooms are clean and quiet.
BUT the hotel has a super lazy handyman. We had a toilet hissing all time, it was impossible to sleep. We complained 3 days I a row and it was not fixed during the whole our stay. The lamp in the fridge was not working as well, the tap in the sink was wobbly. I did not even see a reason to complain. Ruined vacation.

After 5 days on the road we checked into the oval motel with a twin room booked. Greeted with a friendly face and the lovely lady was so helpful and even after enquiring about the room types available she happily upgraded us to one of the cottages. She also helped us with menus for restaurants that deliver food and what ones she would recommend. It was a lovely treat after staying in so many tiny rooms along our trek and eating on the go with 2 dogs and a baby with us. The cottage itself was clean, spacious and really quite nice. Highly recommend staying here.

Was a welcome stay after a long drive. Our cabin was warm, welcoming and pleasant to stay in.

The room was extremely clean and we were provided with everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Called in on our way through. Quiet, VERY comfortable. Weather was freezing outside, but heater & electric blankets kept us warm & we woke feeling refreshed & ready to continue our trip. Highly recommend staying there!

These people are horrible and made me quiet upset they accused me of stealing there bedding but better yet the old lady couldn’t even find my booking as I arrived to check in… wasn’t worth the price especially to be falsely accused of stealing, unless there just racist because of my fiancés colour but regardless would never recommend staying here you’ll get treated appallingly I wish I didn’t have to give even 1 start!

We required a disability friendly and dog friendly accommodation - this facility provides both in the one room. Friendly, professional staff ensured stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

My family of 4 spent the night in one of the cottages and had a truly wonderful stay. The management were friendly and very accommodating, ensuring that we were comfortable and had enjoyed our stay. A great experience, we would stay again!

We will recommend this clean comfortably set out Chris & Christine gave us a great welcoming having and a emergency whilst my Husband was seeing a specialist I unfortunately had a heart problem not knowing that if I was going to be kept over or discharged they gave us the great ews they had the disabled room available can't thank them enough we will be back Gloria and John Kindness Loxton

A simple motel but rooms are clean, everything works, and in a quiet location. The managers are a great couple.

One of the older built motels but well maintained. The rooms are clean with all facilities included tea and coffee, biscuits to clean towels and toiletries. Feel comfortable to stay
