Glenside Lions Club Bookmart reviews
15I absolutely love this place. So many great books on so many different subjects. Don't think I've ever left empty-handed. Always grab a bargain.
Had about 10 boxes of good clean hardbacks to donate.confronted by bossy red haired female in car park.refused to take donations, unless she hand picked them! Told me she had already turned away one couple just b4 my arrival.don't worry, you won't see me again!
Never been here before but will be back. Huge selection at reasonable prices. Not the downright cheapest, but books were well organised and in great condition.
Beautifully set up with books easy to locate. This place is like a treasure trove! One day we will be back to explore properly. Good job, Lions Club!
Incredibly well laid out (think old fashioned library rather than second hand book shop). Very good, large selection of books which are reasonably priced. Eftpos available. Next to the Hanson Reserve but let down by minimal parking
This is my favourite place ever! Everyone is so friendly and the book quality is amazing.one of my core memories is in this place, the excitement of coming home with piles of books after not loosing an arm and a leg from the cost.i have grown up getting books from this place.the best part is that all the money they get goes to charity.if you are looking for somewhere to go to get good quality books at low prices with amazing staff willing to help- this is the place for you!
Huge range of books, very well organised and clean. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
Bonus of having a park just next door to keep kids entertained or if in need of toilets.
Wow, what a great place.
Masses of books, beautifully organised.
Hard working friendly volunteers.
Feels good donating good condition books here.
Get along and support the great work Lions do.
Used to go there years ago with the granddies.now I go for my own reading and delight. Beaut staff and a friendly, welcoming spot!
Incredible range, phenomenal pricing, most polite staff I’ve encountered in a long time. 10/10, will return as soon as possible.
What an unexpected gem. I'm glad I decided to just have a quick look that turned into a long wander through. It's tucked away in the suburbs, containing quite a few interesting resources. If you're a book worm it's definitely worth a look.
Super friendly, with a wide range of second hand books.
Clean and easy to browse.
Not super cheap, but reasonably priced.
What a great range of books all in good condition and set out by author or catergory. Its well worth a visit
Picked up an old book on Algorithms and Data Structures, it's unlikely I would have gotten anywhere else, so that was nice.
There's a great range of books, including kids' books, all of which are well looked after in the shop. Friendly volunteers who keep out of your way when not needed.
