Jess the gaming staff was amazing, she provided perfect service and I believe more workers should be like her

Food and service was all really good, quite pricey for the size but the taste well and truely made up for that. Lost a star cause it was impossible to see across the table for about an hour when the sun was going down.

Paid parking and no provision for handicapped or wheelchair parking. Very bad allowing this place to get away with this behaviour. 2 out of 10.

I celebrated my wedding in the recently renovated function room and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. The room looked stunning and the views over the beach were breathtaking. The functions coordinator Amanda was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process and went above and beyond for us. The front of house staff were friendly and did a great job. The kitchen staff did a fantastic job and the food was delicious.

Food was really good however service wasn’t. Had a business dinner at the restaurant near reception. The nicer one not the burger and beer one. In hindsight that would have been easier. Had dinner there on the 24th Jan. 6 of us. All different businesses. The staff on exiting would not split the bill. We have 6 different expense accounts to deal with and they refused. We were the last people there - not like we were holding anyone up. The brunette waitress said “why are you arguing with me” after I questioned her once and said it would be easy to just take our payments at the end. I was so angry that she spoke to me like that. She was just not interested in helping us. She then said “do you know how to use internet banking? ”. Ummm yes…. So one of us paid and now we all have to go bank transfer to each other and claim back through our respective companies. Massive pain. If I’d known that I wouldn’t have gone. General feedback but you need to split bills like everyone else can. It takes maybe a minute or two more. Thanks. Credit to the kitchen however as the salmon was delicious.

Terrible event management staff and venue managers.chad and amanda probably the worst I have come across, I tried so hard to book our $6000 + function but got completely contradicting information and they just didn’t care - about even responding most of the time. And then offered the worst and most cheap and nasty options.please never book a function here or at coast.

Didn't stay. Came here for dinner. Food was awful even for a pub menu. When we were asked about our meal and gave honest feedback we were offered a free dish but the dish never arrived and we were ignored. Won't be back

Was average as checking in was quite poor. To get into the carpark meant waiting in a line of 20 guests trying to checkin or existing guests asking for assistance.

No recognition of hotel loyalty or upgrade but they were busy.

Staff and guests not wearing masks as state government made it mandatory. Social distancing was not thing.

Rooms were dated but nice. Clean and good amenities. No bottled water in room?

The views are brilliant. The food is a great price. Generous servings and tastes delicious! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is wonderful. Highly recommend, even with renovations going on!

Poor service on "Booked" work function. Missing meals, collect meals from bar on some highly disorganised way (based on the number of staff on). Won't be back under these circumstances. Drink service was fine.

Great spot, had the worst excuse for Calamari and chips ever on April 4th 2021. Chewy, cheap, measly serve of Calamari and chips were just warm and soft. Cost me about $23 too! The chef must not give a toss about his customers as i am sure he wouldnt have eaten what was served to us. Never again.

A great view of the beach, although main seats with views are inside. Nice inside and friendly staff yet I noticed a few tables wait for their orders (mainly cocktails) longer then 20 minutes before having to go remind them, ourselves then having the same problem. Seemed to all related to ordering off the table order qr codes as they don't check the order print outs often. Late at night turns into a nice nightclub with good drinks specials. Perfect place to spend your time especially if staying at the attached Oaks Hotel

Had food at the beachfront bistro, and it was very average for the price. We waited for an hour for our food. The place wasn't busy, so I don't know why it took so long. They brought wrong drinks to our table. They forgot our entree.

Disappointed with breakfast, not up to price standards, eggs overcooked and order didn't come out to complete had to ask for remaining food. Had to request for cutlery + salt n pepper. Staff not wearing their masks all the time serving

A little out of the way but that's fine. Not too busy during the day, plenty of seating including views of the sea. Good range of beer.
Massive screen playing horse racing if you like that sort of thing.
Not crafty but has some Coopers. Need XPA on tap.

Ive eaten at the Pier a few times and the meals have always been good. I had salt and pepper squid last weekend and I thought it had been better on previous visits but it was still pretty good. Everyone else I went with was happy with their meal too. The views are great and I really enjoy the live cover bands on a Friday night.

Bar staff were lovely. That’s was all that was. Lots of broken glass under our table, glass bifold doors covered in hand prints. Then the food scallops so small and over cooked. Chips cold, fish just revolting worst entree and seafood platter I have ever had. Would not go back.
