Glenelg Beach reviews
39 Such a nice beach with plenty of shops and cafes around. It has a nice vibe to it. Very lively.
My absolute go to place to relax.
Must see if you in Adelaide, parking is easy and lot of bars and restaurants along the strip. Don't miss the stunning sunsets from the jetty
Nice place to sit with family and friends on a sunny day. Limited shady areas though, so if hot, bring your shade with you
Glenelg beach is our favourite go to place to get regular ‘vitamin sea’. Glenelg beach area is a full package - in addition to a beautiful beach, this place has nice playground and awuatic centre, good eatery, jetty, night lights, leisure area, vibrant events, great access to public transport, beachside shared walk/bike path etc.
You would love this place!
Very joyful place with variety of food and beverages options around and there is also wonderful play area for children
Went for short walk along beach path. Had lunch a small cafe sat outside. BEAUTIFUL Sunny day slight breeze. LOVE GOING TO GLENELG PLENTY TO SEE &DO. (Shopping, Eating &Enjoy the Beach. Also Beachhouse with arcade games /waterslides/ mini golf &more. Definitely a great DAY out guaranteed.
Beach and entertainment area a tram ride from CBD. They cater for all palates and you can get a chance for a dip on good day.
Always nice coming to Glenelg. Now with the ferris wheel right near the jetty. Great views from the top and beach looks inviting to when the weather warms up in summer.
So lovely in Summer vibe! Emerald sea & white sandy beach ️ Can't wait to hang out here for the spectacular sunset.
A gorgeous beach front with a lot of beach, fun aye areas and activities for all ages! There is a lot of food and icecream/gelato options even at night
There is so much to offer here. You can go and have some fun at the Beachhouse, check out the variety of restaurants and bars, play on the awesome beachfront playground that even includes trampolines or just relax by the beach.
It was ok, too much sand, not enough g-strings. Said gday to the ocean. Didn't even get a wave back
There is no better place than Glenelg, restaurants, beach house (magic mountain was 100% better thou.why would you want to live anywhere else.
The most popular and touristry beach in Adelaide.
Long and white sand beach.
Family friendly beach with spacious open area for walking around, relaxation, food tripping and entertainment.
A very nice spot for chasing sunrise and golden sunset while jogging around or even unwinding at the coastal side.
Just love this place. Sunsets during summers is the best time to be there. The skies have an array of colors you just cant miss. Just do nothing, but sit on the benches or grass looking at the horizon. You won't feel like moving away.
Lovely for people who like a waveless beach or just a picturesque view, jetty included. Make sure to wear thongs/ flip flops/ beach shoes as the sand gets really hot. Lots of cafes and playground areas, including a couple of ground level mini trampolines. There a mini fun/ water park as well but not sure of the cost. You might find shade under some of the lovely big trees but best to be prepared with your own portable shade, just in case. Public toilets nearby but not much change room area. Easy access to all areas.
We can enjoy food in main street, great place for all ages. Best place to spend time for eating, leisure, and camping.
Packed out on a lovely sunny day!
We went to the ice cream festival and was really surprised at the crowds of people.
Truly a sign of things to come after covid.
Nice big beach with lots to do. There’s a couple of shops around the place as well as a lot of restaurants. There’s a Coles and Woolies a short walk down the road from the main beach. I find that the beach tends to be very good for photo opportunities as the jetty during sunset looks quite nice. Occasionally there will be a pelican or a seal that shows up.
