Glenelg Barbeque Inn

Very busy. I had a mixed grill and it was very nice but was not offered any condiments and had difficulty catching staffs eyes for said condiments.

On my last trip to Adelaide, a local told me to come here for the best steak in town… I went, and they were full.
This time around another local recommended the best steak in Glenelg…. This time around we got in, and they delivered. An amazing char-grilled rump stake just as I like it.
Staff were great, and we may have been the last ones in.
Definitely recommend… the ONLY thing I missed was a pepper sauce; but your hot English mustard made up for it - cheers!

Great food, always has been, but too expensive now, won't be back. I know you pay for what you get but it's over the top.

Great steak, excellent flavor. Good service. Opportunity to expand your stomach if you like with some huge steaks.

The menu is extensive so there's definitely a dish to suit everyone. The food was amazing The staff were also friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Took my wife here for my birthday. Never again. Porterhouse was chewy and somewhat bland, her mixed grill was okay uther than the portion of steak, which was the same low quality as mine. Place was very noisy. Staff were friendly and polite.

Good place for get together. Very good service. Our friends liked the quality of meat and cooking.
Few vegetarian meals would be great idea as well in my opinion.

Amazing experience, the waitress was fantastic, she helped us so much and made the night perfect. The steaks are truly something else, you had better be hungry to handle the 400gramers! Definitely going to make this place my go to restaurant, and it's casual, no pomp n ceremony, just good old fashioned fun and food!

Awesome meat eaters paradise. To get 5 stars they just need to find a way to dampen the noise. Same menue for over 20 years, why change a winner.

Had not been there since the days of the plastic red and white chequered table cloths so was a bit apprehensive about it being the same. Fear not! Its still awesome if your a hardcore carnivore! Ample servings, steaks, chevaps, shaslicks, prawns all cooked to perfection along with the ever faithful simple house salad. Service was polite and lightening fast, frosty beers and nice wine. Great to see the icon is still as good as ever. Our ex pat WA visitor was over the moon. Highly recommended. Cheers, JR

Had the 850g TEXAS T-bone, easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly definetly recommend this steakhouse. Staff were very polite and professional 10/10 food and service.

Hands down the best steak place in Adelaide. Forget gauchos, this place has them on the ropes. Great Value and wonderful service and staff, super friendly and very hospitable. Would definately come back again and again.and again.

Best streak I've had in Australia. I could order a steak without any salad though. Actually putting salad on the plate takes away from just how good the steak is.

The Barbeque inn is a institution that has stood the test of time. Fantastic meats cooked to smokey perfection, with a salad that fits and refreshes the pallete.
The chevups are full of flavour, the shaslicks charred nicley and the steaks were tender and moist.
The cheesey garlic bread was amazing.

Steaks are cooked as requested. Quality of the steaks are excellent. Customer service is great too.

Love this place, always have, always will because they absolutely do steak perfectly. The traditional salad is a personal fave too. When I want a great steak, this is where I go.

Easily the best steak house in South Australia by a country mile. The others don't even come close!

Great service, quality food too. Highly recommended and feel safe to eat from store during pandemic.
