Glen Forest Tourist Park reviews
66We came this week and were very pleasantly surprised by this park! Not speaking very good english, we were a bit lost but the lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and gentle! We will keep a magical memory of this day with the animals!
Awesome place. Highly recommend. Owner and staff couldn’t have been friendly and more informative.
A must visit if you are in the region. It's very good for families.
Koala feeding is at 1pm and there are BBQs if you want to cook something.
You can spend the day here or just drop by for a couple of hours.
Riding the Segways was a great experience and our tour guide Sarah was great.
Amazing place - animals are happy in the park, as you can tell by the aviary birds which aren’t afraid of humans at all, the domestic animals are relaxed and chilled. I come from the city so I personally reckon the entry price is not expensive at all. Definitely a must-go if you’re an animal lover and stopping by Port Lincoln.
Wonderful experience.very clean, animals well fed and housed and happy with human interaction.friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.highly recommend.
Very well setup. Great seeing koala's being fed and being able to get up close to pat them. A great range of recreational spaces for different groups and a diverse set of activities. Would certainly take family back.
The best time you could ask for with friends and family. Adorable animals, friendly staff, overall a great experience.
We enjoyed being able to interact with the animals and hand feed the kangaroos and birds. A great place for families to visit with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Had a great time riding the segways and feeding the animals. The rainbow lorikeets were a highlight, they are happy to land on your arm and head while you feed them. Service was very friendly. Will be back again on our next trip to Port Lincoln. Thank you
Kids loved it. The segways got them in. Birds and animals great condition. Thanks for great experience
Very stylish and modern and well looked after grounds. The price list has been made abit confusing and I don't know if it was just the time of year we went but they don't have a kitchen to serve lunch. They had a pizza oven there which I'm guessing maybe they use in the busier periods, would have stayed for lunch otherwise then played putt putt afterwards but we were both hungry so we left. Went on the segways though with my partner which was great fun, quite considerably cheaper than the segway company in Adelaide and heaps more fun. Alot more free space to have some fun and they pretty much let you do what you want, I got a little carried away and got stuck in the mud with mud all up my legs
Really enjoyed meeting and interacting with the animals. A bit out of the way.but expected considering a farm visit styled property.
Fabulous. Feels like you are visiting friends who have a farm. Very relaxed and the animals are very happy, and up close and personal. We had a quick lesson on a segway and took off to explore. The bird enclosure is great, especially if you like birds using your head and arms as a perch. This was a great way to spend an afternoon.
Entry to the maze is another 8 dollars on top of the general entry of 15 dollars.
Just the maze is 10 dollars
Very fun experience, better than any other zoo or animal park, nicely renovated and the staff were incredibly nice - always smiling.
Lovely place to spend some relaxing time with the driendly staff and animals would visit again if in this area
The kids loved looking at the animals, riding segway skooters, walking through the wooden maze. A bit pricey entry fees for quiet time of year.
I see what they are trying to achieve but for 15.00 entry PLUS having to pay for the maze, they've got a long way to go.
Super fun place. So many animals - you can pay the kangaroos and have birds sit on your hand while feeding them. The mini golf course is awesome too
